flushing seems to be more personal preference,i cant see,smell,taste the differenence between the two.

really! and here i thought flushing was practically mandatory or youd get nast tasting buds from all the nutes.

ha ha and yes archie, exactly like that, im going to follow along with that grow, now i know how to get 6 colas when i was thinking only option was 4 or 8.

well its time for another update! girl is just shy of 11 weeks, 10 weeks 5 days to be exact and looking pretty good me thinks . did some heavier defol to really up the light penetration to the colas. trichomes are still mostly all clear with a small percentage of cloudy ones, and buds are growing and getting fatter, still more on the fluffy side but theres still time to go. ive attached pics for viewing pleasure.
i also decided to do a small lighting upgrade, was going to go high end but ended up having a cheap attack due to building a pc currently so i just ordered a duplicate of the current vipar spectra 300. so once it arrives itll be going into tent for my next grow with double the lighting power so ill be running roughly 260 wattts from the wall or basicaly the same as vipar spectra 600.

well thanks outlaw! yeah it seems to be chugging along pretty well. i snipped and fast dried a very small piece last night just to test and as suspected it ddint really do much ha ha. still to early the thc production isnt there yet in the trichs. so shes still got time. just gonna take ti week by week until ready, so keep following along

well now i have a lot to consider, or i should say at least that i dont have to worry. ill probaly stil do a bit of a flush but good to now its not super important. perhaps just the last couple waterings il feed straight water. just becasue ha ha.

was the lil sample you tested harsh,rough,black ash,spark,pop funny taste or smell ? its unflushed.technically a flush is x3 the pot volume.i would tend to skip my last two 1L feedings and give 1L of plain water,3,4 days to dry out and chop.
i couldnt tell any difference flushed or not,maybe not a sensitive nose and throat but again its like many things in the growing world.if thats the way you do it and it works,keep doing it.(if it aint broke dont fix it)

The piece I tested was burning black. But I read the ash colour thing was a myth. But I also didn't fully it. It was still kind of damp haha. I'll probably still do a flush with 6 litres of plain water and regular water feeding for the last week or so just because. I don't know if I'd say bumper harvest since it's still a pretty small plant being a 1 gallon pot. But I am curious to see what dry weight will be. Next grow is 2 gallon pot and double the lighting.

well i dried aother little piece of bud while i was away and tested when i got home this morning. all i can say is wow, what a pleasant stone. not over powering just perfect. and much smoother smoking then my kush i grew perviously. and i could imagine how much smoother it would get after proper dry and cure, this stuff was crispy that i smoked,lol. checked the trichs and its curently a mix of clear and amber so im going to give it another week or so i think and ten im going to be looking to chop her. ill hold off on an update until i decide to chop/trim and hang. so next update should be a nice one!. stick around guys

And to archie, if your reading this. it burnt gteat, white/grey ash not overly harsh and didnt notice any kind of off flavours (thogh my tastebuds arent primo for detecting such things),so might just give one or two regular water feedings and call it a day.

thats gotta be it! ive been tenderly nurturing this girl . gotta love the human race hah ha, we nurture something, feed it and watch it grow, then kill it and consume it,lol.
