New Grower "Auto Big Gun" Grow Journal - 1st timer

Thank ya kindly ! The only reason the cab works with my 600 is the bathroom exhaust mod on the ceiling - and I had to do another cool air intake on the bottom. The exhaust pulls so hard and it's sealed up so tight, I didn't even have to plug the other intake in....just spin the blades to get em going  This whole thing's been very informative. Were I to start over I would have gone LED or CFL all the way. Seems way safer and efficient, not to mention I can't imagine how much easier temp control is. At the time - I bought my light because consensus seemed to be HPS grows maximum volume and density. This one is HPS/MH compatible but it came with the HPS bulb. They fortunately supplied a ballast that looks more like a really sweet car amp and has tons of cord - so the ballast is outside the box, being cooled with the exhaust. It doesn't need cooled but I'm doing it in hopes of extending its life:dunno: Thanks for checking things out and the helpful link ! :Sharing One:

Update : Day 29

Update : Day 29 - My 2 Big Guns & 1 Amnesia - The other "Big Shaggy" Big Gun is on a 48hr timeout for refusing to flower. Plants seem darker green from the nutes and they haven't been watered for awhile. The buckets were fairly heavy so I thought I'd chill. Temps and everything are good - I have Mushrooms ! You know, for the Carbon Dioxide......

Going very nicely. I'd recommend growing Yangoon/Burmese mushrooms, they always gave me mad amounts of co2.

I checked them out just now, thanks for the reference. The kit I got said these ones are from Ecuador -
first flush - first grow. Feel free to send any tips or tricks my way, I'd love to learn more about them.
:Sharing One: :peace:

"I have Mushrooms ! You know, for the Carbon Dioxide......" you've caught my interest how does this all work? girls looking great!

Kits like these http://www.mushroomgrowkits.com/ are edible, and customer activated. They crank out a minimum of 3000 ppm co2 - which is really good for plant growth (so I've heard). I don't personally know if that fact is documented and or peer reviewed - but many swear by it for growing buds. The shrooms in the link are customer activated Blue Oyster (edible) and non psychoactive. One could grow psychoactive mushrooms and use the co2 byproduct in a win-win kinda deal! :d5:
They'd just need to check their local laws because theyr'e not legal everywhere. :peace:

Thanks for the compliment and for stopping by to have a look ! :Sharing One:

First Flush Ecuadorian Mushrooms

Pulled my first flush, I'm guessing maybe an OZ. all dried
These are the last shroom pics I'm putting up,
my main intent behind including them in this journal was to show
a cheap way to up the CO2 level in your room. If any1 wants the link
for these just let me know. Not gonna eat em till our first camping trip

Gonna post some pics later of the timeout plant that refuses to flower
but is insanely bushy and healthy....maybe some1 can help me with it ?
Until then - have a super lazy Sunday everybody ! :peace:

Thank you Eekman ! - I tried your link but it's not working for me :Sharing One:

Anyone ever see this before ? ?

So here it is, after 48hr of dark, and then some cfl light yesterday and today - I have a total of 4 pistils.... lol. I haven't put it back under the HPS with the others, for fear it may hermi / and or that the HPS would be too intense after the 48hrs of darkness. I just don't know what to do with this plant. I need to see more pistils before they go in with the rest. Anyone ever see such a thing? 31 days and it just grew 4 pistils today - but look how healthy!
The other two Big Guns flowered almost 2 full weeks ago....
