New Grower Assistance required, first time grower, Spain

i really appreciate the help guys, im going to try it without transplanting them first and hopefully it goes well.

I use muddy's tiered method to germinate autos. I cut the bottom off of a 16oz solo cup. Then dig a hole in my final container and place the solo cup about 3 inches in soil and about 3 inches above soil. Then I fill the cup up with jiffy starter soil and alittle perlite. I plant the seeds about 1/4 inch deep and then mist two or three times a day lightly. I cover the cup with plastic wrap until the seeds pop. I have only germed 6 seeds but I have had 100% success rate. By the time the tap root hits the final soil mix it is old enough and strong enough to take it.

Sounds awesome. Do you remove the cup?

As a side note I don't know why Muddy would do it this way? I could see if the roots reach into loaded soil like Ocean Forest, but Muddy uses Pro Mix.

(Ooops. I just saw you reply about cup removal) Still wondering why Muddy'd do it. (Am I going to see that answered, too?)

no problem, my friend. I am finishing up one now and it will be my second harvest. I was hyper sensitive at first. They need to be taken care but they are hardy and want to grow. What's nice about soil is that with nutes and watering less is more. My biggest problem is messing with them to much and you just got to let them do their thing. They want to grow. I use a simple soil mix of 1 part compost, .25 part cow manure, and .25 part vercilumite and 1 part perlite. I think the most important thing in our early growing careers is to make sure that we have our soil and water PH correct. Any problems that might arise the people on this site will be able diagnose and help you with just make sure and ask questions and be able to take a pic. You are on the right track and I predict in 90 days or so you will be smoking your stash.

I'm not very much a firm believer of "don't transplant autos etc.", although, I don't have much experience. I've had success so far with germination and transplant of autos. My current lady looks lovely to me! To each his own I suppose. lol. and she has a lil sister I plan to transplant ONCE into her final pot. I'm here to learn just like you, just sharing my experiences! :Sharing One: good luck friend!
