Dutch Passion are we there yet? think different at day 60 with led and dwc.

i'm using canna flores. i don't think it's the seed as much as a genetic variation in the strain. mr. tony, of dutch passion fame, made note that there is a 14 week phenotype of this strain. that's what i have. it's not necessarily a bad thing, just a bit unexpected. i think she could've been huge in the right hands, but this was my first attempt. i started her off with the leds too close so she could've been taller and i also think i've had them too close again in flower. i've raised them from about 6 inches off the canopy to about a foot. i think too much of a good thing was counterproductive in this situation. being so close to the canopy did not give room for the different spectrums to blend or allow proper saturation, so some tops were being blasted in one particular spot while others were being left behind. this also has to do with the design of the older hydrogrow leds and the amount of space between each diode. living and learning, that's for sure!
yeah, she's got a trunk on her! i'm hoping the stress doesn't take her too long to recover from, but since i've spent this much time with her i don't mind adding another day or two for recuperation.

glad to hear ya got it figured out man .....i guess the patience has to set in ....she still a beauty and prett damn big ....u should get a zip or more right????.........and im still figure the light spacing as well im not too good with that i hat it at 8 in strsight for 3 weeks and im not adjusting and have a BR that stretch really bad but she caught up to the other tops .....just has about a 1-3/4 in node spacing at the bottom IM keeping mine at 10 now and moving about an in up a day .......I wanna get the Blackstar 240 before my next grow or asap I do see the difference between led and flo
yes, the patience... it comes and goes, unfortunately. if each cola turns out to weigh a gram dry i should get a little over an ounce! for all the hell and ignorance i've put her through i'll be grateful with that! besides, the other plant is just stunning!!! the difference in the two phenotypes' lifecycle is pretty dramatic. i definitely think my second think different will be better, for sure. i'm trying something different with the younger one and using the pk 13/14 now early in flower, instead of at the end of her life cycle. some people say it helps to open the flowers bigger that way, so i've got my fingers crossed! also, some people (muddy, for example) like to let their seedlings stretch so their node spacing is greater than one inch at the base of the plant. this saves from having to prune the bottom branches later on, and helps with air circulation all around. maybe you did yourself a favor without even knowing it! the blackstar 240 is legit, as are the chrome series. you won't be disappointed with them, just don't expect to grow more than a few plants at a time under one, especially a big gal like the think different!

do these trichs look cloudy to you?
it appears (to my novice eyes, at least) that the trichomes on my buds are milky/cloudy, but seem a bit more clear on the sugar leafs. when would you harvest these? all advice is welcome!

yeah man i always said i wish i woulda joined here a month before i decided to take an auto on .......i am more familiar with throwing the shit out side and looking at it in Sept or OCt ...i even had a plant last till December cause where im from we dont get shit for winter ....I have planted seedlings in january and ended up killing them by june .......
Did my first indoor grow and was using the attic light for a week till i got my lights and the thing mutated on me cause we lost power for 2 days .....then i was ordering cause i wanna knopw what im smoking exactly ...when getting from people dealers u dont know what u getting and alot of them i hear spray shit for smels then u smoke chemicals and molded weed at times and crush ur skull .....Gotta be stealth so i do love the blackstars chrome ill need to see how my harvest come from what i got .....bidding on a 180w and a couple 240s but im also trying to convince myself to hold on till i get one brandnew with warranty ......I will grow a couple of phottos next and 1 auto ....i took on 8 and really dont have enough light to get the BIG yeild ...so hopefully i can get a 240 or even the 180 id rather 1 500w lol but they like 500 lol .....i do love that 6 spot chrome tho its sexy ....

luckily i joined up first! this place was the inspiration and motivation to grow my own! i hear ya on the warm winters and moldy/chemically enhanced buds! i bought a bag from my trustworthy source a few weeks ago and they openly admitted it smelled like it had been laced with pinesol for scent. i'm scared to smoke the shit so it's just been sitting, collecting dust!

ughhh yeah man i got this nasty shity stuff ....sharks breath was what it was called but its more like rotten shrimp shit ......looks good and all a lil trichy not to good on the amber tho hairs look old and crispy like it been in a jar for a year ......fucking taste like rotten shrimp smells and i just ruined my good bowl with it too ...thought maybe it was the old chillum that made it taste like that last night ....man this shit is nasty in a clean pipe and immediate brainskull pressure not good pressure like head hit by a mule ......im gonna send that idiot some grape mix on some and tell him its perple kush lol .........but i did just have my good friend drive down on a 2 hour route to deliver me some classic blue dream ......one of favorite nighty nights .....i have the most vivd childhood good dreams dunno but i gues that why it got its name its very tranquil for me and like i ate happy pills .......gave him an extra peek at whats on my menu and he made sure id let him know .......IM starting to get my bushes they girthing up now ....i cant wait for the next 8 weeks to fly by if i even go that long ...but i have 8 weeks till i need my shit in jars .....after that big small even huge they all coming down !!!!
glad i ran into sniper and got his recipe that seagrow shit is da best hands down .....Ive used roots in my garden for 2 months now I introduced my smaller peppers i transplanted a month ago they were small and still setting roots gave them a shot of seagrow at full strength .....holy fuck they way passed my older plants from the roots line up .......
I wanna do hydro somtime too as im getting a cloning machine for my blueberry crop im creating .....for money as well ......gonna profit off extra outside veggies and not spend shit on inside veggies for a few months .......thats it ,...
