an old hippy saying "once you think it's ready for harvest give it two more weeks" some harvest guide lines:
1) conside harvesting when pistals are 60 -70% brown/amber
2) when trichomes are staert ing to turn amber/brown ( thay are starting to decay) Rememeber once yu see the trichomes changing color to amber.brown they change at the rate of 5% per week - SO when you sart to see amber trichomes wait to weeks and then you will have 10% amber 80% milky Note: you will always have some clear trichomes - the longer the plant stayes in harvest CBD amounts increase - Hope this helps Harvest is a personal thing !!

Non CBD plants: If you desire a more couch-lock type high, then you want a fair amount of amber trichomes. All cloudy trichomes for a lighter high.
CBD plants with amber trichomes is degradation. I harvest my cbd plants with some clear trichomes left.
When you check trichomes, use a bud piece, not a leaf. They can turn early.

I usually wait till the fade starts then it's about 3 weeks out. Some finish faster at about 1.5-2 weeks but most are around 2.5 weeks.

The first one looks very close, about a week. The other one looks like it'll go at least another 2 or 3.
