New Grower Are Credit Card Payments for overseas purchases prohibited?

no, no, Herbies lost their overseas CC approval. Only Herbies, no other UK seed banks that ship to USA are any different than they've ever been. Too bad because Herbies was the only place I could find some strains. Oh well, I went back to Seedsman. Always good, still are.

I tested somewhere between half dozen and a dozen seed websites that commonly advertise on the web. Not one including several from UK would take an order from the U.S. I had to go through the ordering procedure in order to find that out though-no upfront disclosures.

Tried a couple from Canada and they were out of stock on virtually any number of strains I would have ordered.

Basically there has been a sea change in the seed market and I still don't know why. Is this politics influencing banks influencing business or simply banks seeking to augment their bottom line somehow?

Operations like Herbies, Gorilla, Bonzo, Seedsman and others act as brokers between the breeders and the USA customer and usually carry many different brands of seeds. Of all those that I know always ship to USA only Herbies has had a problem and that problem is unique to Herbies and their bank, and they say they are working on it. When browsing check the upper right corner and look in the currency menu for USD. If it is not there they don't ship to USA.

The vault has issues as well . Could not put in my order and was told their cc payments not possible at the moment.
