Good morning elvis~!

I reckon now is a good time to share a recipe.

Elvis Breakfast Sandwich
(4 servings)
  • 2 Tablespoons butter - softened
  • 8 slices white bread
  • about 1/2 cup peanut butter - smooth or chunky
  • 1 large ripe banana - sliced
  • about 1/4 cup honey
  • 12 slices bacon - cooked and crispy
Create 4 sandwiches by spreading equal amounts of peanut butter over 4 slices of bread. Top each with slices of banana. Drizzle honey over the bananas. Place three slices of bacon on each sandwich and top with another slice of bread.

Butter the outside of each sandwich. Fry on a griddle or in a large frying pan over medium heat until both sides are golden brown. Slice each sandwich in half and serve warm.

Update:
According to Elvis' longtime cook Mary Jenkins Langston, the bread for these sandwiches should be lightly toasted before the sandwiches are fried. Consider changing "8 slices white bread" in the ingredients above to "8 slices white bread - lightly toasted."

This is a favorite sandwich of the late, great Elvis Presley. The combination of peanut butter and bacon may seem weird to some, but once you try it, you'll understand why the king loved this sandwich.

View attachment 699006 Uh-huh thank you very much.

I saw this same sandwich on TV last night. Some fried food show.. the only difference was they deep fried it... Man it looked good. Like a heart attack on a stick

@arty zan how you liking that Optic Foliar?

I'm liking it Step, it's good stuff.
I did find that using it under my COB with Silicone lenses, it is best to use it with the lights dimmed.
It is a supposed to be best to use it in full light as recommended by Dinesh the creator of Optic foliar.
When I used it under full light from the COBs it did get scorch spots where the light was magnified by the lensing effect.
Although Optic foliar have done many tests, I don't think this could have included high intensity COBs with lenses.
I am going to mention this to Dinesh and seee what his thoughts are on this.
Other than that I am liking it and only have good things to say about it.
what about you brother? What are your thoughts on it?

Sounds awesome and for desert you could follow it with a deep fried mars bar (snickers Almond bar)..

I like it. I really think it's a great addition to any grow.. I use it on non water days mostly. But I've been using it on seedlings and holding back on food a little longer. Seems to be working great

Here is one of the traditions that get carried out every year in the SW of England.

What trditions do you have from where you live and the surrounding are.
Are they weirder than the "flaming tar barrels" of Otter St.Mary??
Think you can bet it , post a pic and some info or post a youtube vid of it.

I'm currently using it every other day since the second week and you can use it up until half way through flowering.
I reckon I've got another 3 weeks of spraying to go.
