I'd say your drain cup is a tad old...........lol. Sink drain replacements are available at hardware stores. Get the fancy wrench used with them, it makes the job much easier!

Changed my faucet last week. Couldn't find my basin wrench so I had to go old school on it.... Can you say sawzall?? A good basin wrench is way worth the $12 investment
