Yes. It has a much shorter buffering period than a pH down product....
vinegar will work in a pinch, but I prefer the app!e cider with mothers.

Ok, that makes sense, now, let me ask, is the shorter buffering period going to be as much of a factor in a soil set up, or will just knocking the edge off my alkaline tap water (when rain water is not available) be enough in a soil setup?
