Well, yeah it sucks. But I had no extra costs and no struggle to return it. Only the waiting sucks. Was most likely one lose cable inside or something else. As long as no further fvckups appear its all good!

So you worked with it and it was no problems? Buffering period means the PH raising again...any time window known?
