What's folks thoughts on using something like inch(ish) think foam from the hobby/craft store to raise plants off a chilly floor in the winter? Good idea or waste of time? Don't know where it's going to bottom out at yet, first year paying close attention, and the floor in the closet is down in the high to mid 60's, so getting a little chilly for the roots.

Thoughts? :greenthumb:

If you are in a tent I would go to the box hardware store of your choice. Find a piect of Half inch or greater 4' by 8' foam board. Cut a footprint from that to sit the tent on. Leave it summer and winter.

I use some rock wool chunks I have for some other house plants in the winter to break them away from a cold floor. It can really make a difference in soil temps.

I did not participate in the discussion yesterday as I had a very negative experience with Grasshopper vapes . I'm happy to see the discussion was very successfull and people had a fun time . I would have like to have known if their battery is covered under their life time warrante and whether it's replacabale by the average consumer ?? Maybe next time .:toke:
Do you already know the answer to those questions?
