I got behind leaf tucking, now the tops are growing branches taller than the canopy..those are going to block out light to a degree. I almost want to cut the too off so i end up with an even canopy… any suggestions?

Wanted to clarify on the high ec…i never checked ec for a couple years and I was using my tap water and full strength medium feed schedule for GH nutes. Discovered recently my tap is .08 so my feed ending up being 1.8-2.0 for seedlings for two years and I grew nice plants. So now I’m using ro water but keeping the ec at 2.0 with higher light wattage and I’m having the best grow I’ve ever had so far.

I probably will. I know its not a good bet to top it. Considering some significant lst to bend the top to try and keep the shorter canopy exposed to light. Idk. I have extra lights for the sides of my tent so even if there a tall cola central cola, i can keep the shorter canopy exposed to light

You dont wanna top autos that late, youre just gonna slow it down and kill your yield. If you want a perfectly even canopy try scrog or tying down/training what pops up!

Hmm i have a scrog net. I might try that.

Little update: put up a scrog net. Did some defoliation. I’m noticing where I could’ve done with some extra branches.

My lesson to be learned here is low stress train earlier. And some of the tertiary growth should be allowed. It’ll just take better planning on my part.

I’m thinking all of these smaller growths that are coming out now even though they’re exposed to the light won’t really become much because they’re so small

If you want to see what is really possible go check him out. Also keep in mind, he makes it look easy, its not and it takes alot of work. Lol, i have 6 plants in a 2x2. Its possible, takes alot of work
