Terple,
High Y'all,

I just thought I'd ask. Does anyone have experience using a 2 in 1 grow tent? It looks ideal for a perpetual harvest excluding the fact you might want to get a mother tent as well. It's definitely a space saver and that saves money on startup because you don't have to buy multiple fans, etc. Here's a link to a couple I found on Amazon.

Would anyone out there recommend these tents for perpetual harvest?

Thanks for any input in advance.

no experience with them but i like the idea almost bought one once but i have height restrictions couldn't find the right size

Hi again Trichome,

Cool that's good to know man. The only drawback that I see in the reviews is that it has light leaks. Although people just say to tape it up with duct tape or aluminum tape and you're good to go. One thing that also strikes me as odd is the veg chamber is one third the size compared to the flower chamber. Do you think that's an issue?

personally i was looking at it for photos so keeping them smaller wasnt a issue like it would be with autos i guess if your timing was on point you could get it done have you got space for a flower tent and a seperate veg tent somthing like a 60x60x100 somthing small thats the setup im going with its big enough for me to veg 9 photos to around 12-16inchs then move them into the flower tent

I have a whole room that's about 10 x 10 feet and I plan to go with photoperiods. My thought was process was I also want to have space for an extraction station as well as room for mixing soil and storing stuff. So I thought this 2 in 1 tent would considerably save space and like I said before it also saves money in the startup because I won't have to buy multiple fans or carbon filters. I haven't totally decided yet So in total I'd have 1 tent that'd be 3 x 4 x 6 ft. The reason I wouldn't be filling up the whole room with tents is because I also need a place to harvest/dry and extract and mix/store stuff. I have an acmpr medical grow license for 50 plants. My plan is to have 2 of these tents overtime, the first one would be the 3x4x6ft 2 in 1 tent and the second tent would be the smaller version that's 2x3x4.5ft ( this one would go in my bedroom). Is this a realistic or good set up? What would you recommend? Thanks again for your input!

10 x 10 dammm the things i could do in that haha ok if it was my room id be whacking in a 8x4 main tent gives you all the space you will ever need to flower then for veg id be going with a 3x3 yes this is alot of tent but you will never need more room proably iv had three tents in 4 years my advice is to buy once saves money in the long run i reckon you wll have plenty of room left to work in but your setup above will certainly do the ob if you dont want as much grow space what kind of exrtractions are we talking about dry sift rosin or bubble hash only i hope no solvents inside super dangerous

LMAO
No I plan to just use a rosin press, one thing I forgot to mention is it's not really 10 x 10 because I need access to the closet and I also need access to the cold room door. So in reality of actual growing space that I have it's somewhere between 3 by 6 or 3 x 8 but my cannabis consumption is pretty light. At max I'll consume about a quarter pound a month but on average it's about 1 to 2 oz. I also forgot to mention that this room doesn't have any windows so I can't make the grow too big because I have no way to have fresh air intake or also to exhaust hot air outside. So what do you think? Is the 2 in 1 tent worth it? Or is it better to have two separate tents with also a germination/cloning station? By the way thanks for the belly laugh and I really appreciate your input.

smaller is better in your case then id say go for it the two side tent will make a good veg / clone box all in one i would say maybe if your budget allows try get a quality tent to avoid the mentioned rips etc id be interested in following along when you get set up if you start a thread

Cool man that's what I was thinking. I'll make sure to post my progress over the next coming months on here as well as .................My username on there is cannabian420.

I considered a 2 n 1 tent but I didn't feel like I like I should have to buy extra things to make sure the two zones don't interfere with each other.

You could a 4x4 tent and put a 2x4 tent right next to it. That's less issues with light leaks and better control of your environment. What your clones and mothers want for strong veg and quick rooting isn't the same environment your flowering plants will want.

My set up is two 4x4s with the left one having 2-4 shelves of lighting. There's enough room in the mother tent for 32 mother plants and 144 clones plus room for me inside. You could do the same with a 2x4 you just couldn't be inside.

For propagation it clones and seeds around 75f is preferred for vigorous rooting and in general for growth.

that video is all about cloning and gives advice for mothers

This is a guaranteed 2+ lbs every cycle if I fill the flowering tent. My flowering tent uses a different set of environmental parameters so I can't realistically see myself letting two different types of growth be right next to each other.

I use a cheap($20) ipower exhaust fan with a humidity controller to keep humidity high and have air exchange in the veg tent and a temp controller tied to a heater because the LEDs don't get warm enough even with all 3 on. I generally only use two so that indirect light hits clones that I'm trying to root. Plus it's cooler at floor level perfect for cloning. There are controllers that do the same in the flowering tent as well.

The exhaust in my flower room was the cheap exhaust as well tied to a carbon filter. My biggest expense was lighting followed by environmental controls+appliances.
