Mephisto Genetics Any rosin aficionados out there in Mephistoville?

Just posting a few pictures of stuff I've pressed as of late.

This is a mixture of strawberry nuggets and orange diesel. I pressed at 180F. It's been sitting for a few weeks and has developed a color to it along with an insane pungent odor

This is some cosmic queen (what's left of one press) at two different temps. She's presses extremely well. Still trying to perfect the art as you can see.

I upgraded my rosin game. I have a glass rig and enail now. And carb cap. But I'm learning how to use this new rig. From how to dab in the dish to how hard to inhale to training my mind and muscles to put the carb cap on after the initial dab.

I did think from the get go that rosin concentrate is the best way to process and consume. It make me realize that there are medical/pharma uses for canna after all. I was using a wax pen for rosin at first and cruising along, but I knew the real dab rigs with glass and water percs and enails was going to be better. And it truly is. The kick/affect is X times better than a pen. Hard to quantify how much better it is. And the taste and purity is better too, which I wasn't expecting so theres another bonus. And heck I can take a very small dab and get a lot of miles out of it. Amazing.

Just curious if anyone has any tips on using a dabbing rig. Like I said, dabbing rigs is new to me. And hell the last time I had a bong was 40 years ago when I make one out of clay and a kiln. So I am open to some tips and suggestions. Any suggestions brothers. How much water to use. How to clean. How to dab. Whatever.

Very nice. I have no advice as u r further ahead in the rosin game then I am. Enjoy learning lol and probably relearning over and over again lol.

I have two versions of 4 assed monkey rosin I'll post some pics of.

One was the regular rosin I pressed and then run under an UVB bulb for over two days. And then it was decarbed in a an oven for 5 hours at 200F. Its totally dark and stormy. And hopefully loaded up with some CBN sedatives. The other is the regular rosin press I pressed and is more golden in color. They really contrast each other in their color. Should be very noticeable if I can get some good pics taken.

But 4AM does press good if anyone is tracking what Meph strains are good to press vs not.

And working with Rosin is NEAT and FLEXIBLE and VERSATILE! you can do so much with it. Makes smoking a doobie or pipe or whatever you combust seem so unnecessary and just so old school technology

Recent harvested Mephisto rosin pressings.

This is gold glue. I only got just over a zip from this plant which was on me. Not sure what I did wrong. But yield isn't everything. Quality is what matters to me. And this Gold Glue rosin is real good. It was easy to press and recovery was super easy too. Not the best pictures, but you can see the rosin color is indeed gold, living up to its name. it looks better live than in my pictures.

This is Fantasmo which I've grown and pressed before. It is noticeably darker and greener. Looks like booger snot.

Just starting to harvest some plants from the last grow including some Mephisto Genetics. I much prefer rosin over any other type of way consume the goodness in these plants. I was at friends place a week ago and he loves joints. I could not stand them. All I could taste was paper and just some weird plant material. Also tried paperless joints and I could not stand the taste at all. If you want a great hit from your meds that tastes great consider rosin.

So on to what this is all about. Some Rosin. This is about 7 grams of rosin from a Gold Glue. I have not officially weighed it so I could be off. Gold Glue presses great. Yields well. Has a nice texture to it. And hell folks the rosin looks like gold glue.

But before we show some porn I wanted to mention that I bought a box of 1000 sheets of parchment paper for $70. It's something peeps on reddit recommended so I tracked it down. It works great. Its 30lb paper too and I pressed the same sheets twice now and the paper is barely breaking down. Other home food based or stoner based paper does't work as well to me because it breaks down. Its made by Dixie and is available on Amazon. I like the white too because its easy to see what you're collecting. And sheets are nicer than rolls because its less prep work.

Also I'm using NewVape press plates and electronics and heaters and dabbing rig for rosin and the equipment is working great. All you US based Make America Great Again folks should check out Newvape. He machines all his stuff in Florida. Imports some premade stuff from China. And he has these things called flower pots where you combine flower and concentrates in to a double dish thing. Looks pretty cool. They call it Twaxing.

And Orange Diesel. I don't think this stuff is going to be good for the press so I might have to give it all away to family and friends. I'll mess around with humidity and temp and duration to see if I can make it work. But out of the gate it doesn't yield well. It's much darker than the Gold Glue. Its almost black. And it has a stringy consistency to it. I will say this though, its potent. So I want to get this to press well if I can.

2 ODs seemed to be locked out at the end of flower yes. The GG did not lock out from what I can tell. U think that makes a difference in the pressing?

Don't waste your time pressing it if it won't yield well. Some strains press well. Some dont. And 1000000% the Rosin results are from the lockout bro. I am surprised you get anything from it pressing. Don't waste the time or energy. Give it to your friends to smoke.
