You will be able to tell which strain your eating by the flavors - I think it is amazing how well the terpenes come through.

Not sure if this was covered or now, but if I let a good indica amber up a lot and then dry it with no cure, do you think the heavy couch lock will happen? Or would curing and let them go amber/late harvest be even better? Might just have to test that one out myself and see.

I am on the hunt for a good deal on a 12 to 20 ton hydraulic show press that will be plug and play with platens. I might splurge and get the caged platens instead of the ram. I can get a plug and play kit locally so thats cool. Just need a press.

I have pressed fresh dried flowers without the curing and you get a really light colored rosin with good terpene profile but I think the cured then pressed even tastes better yet it will be darker.

Best flavors is 2-3 days dried. Not even put in Jars. If not, curing will bring flavors back more but darken it.

Around here the are 6 Ton, 12 ton and 20. 6 Ton is plenty for personal needs IMO. Unless you are doing massive amounts at a time, more is not needed. Like others have said with 6 Ton they do about 3g per press. Trying to do 6g will result in lower yield % and waste material. Rosin making can be very wasteful, many times because people try to press too much at once.
