Yes you missed it. I use a borosilicate beaker on my bottom press plate as a temperature controlled hot plate. I use equal parts of cocoa butter to rosin @252°F for 27 minutes.I did skip a few parts of the video when it was repeated squishing etc. I must have missed that decarb part.
@KrazyDave I take cannabis for pain management. It works wonders. I was taking so many Nsaids that my kidneys and liver were starting to have problems that is when the doctor recommended cannabis. I have been using it for pain almost 3 years now. Kidneys and liver function are all normal now.
Rosin is a pure extract with no residual solvents. The flavor in my chocolates is fantastic. Dosing is way more accurate than any other homemade product. If you have never tried it you are missing out. The buzz is way different than smoking and I find it very enjoyable.

You say your medicated dose doesn't give you a buzz, like you don't get high but you still get the pain relief?About 20 mg is a medicating dose for me without impairing my everyday functioning. If I want to get a buzz 30 mg to 40 mg parks me in my chair and I would not drive unless it was an emergency. It takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours to take effect and will last 8 to 12 hours depending on the strain. I have some real stoner friends that take 40 mg and go out on the town but I don't have fun out after taking that much.
So if I use 1.3 g. of rosin to make a 4.5 oz (128 g) chocolate bar then 1.3x700mg(average rosin content) = 910 mg of cannabinoids in the whole bar so 1/50th of the bar is a dose 18.5 mg. The chocolate mold I use has 25 pieces and I usually eat half a piece at a time.
Yes, I am able to dose myself just under the buzz level and still get pain relief. It does not always work and sometimes I am more buzzed than I would like for what I have to do. If I drink a beer when I am just under the line it will push me over. I have almost three years of dosing myself so I have gotten pretty good at getting it correct. 1:1 THC:CBD strains are a lot more forgiving of a too high dose as the CBD moderates the THC activity and I use them mostly in the daytime. Then I take a high THC strain for bedtime. I would also state that I need to mix up the strains I take to keep them working. In other words if I take the same strain too many times in a row it loses its efficacy. Remember this is how things work in my body you could respond differently.Wow that sucks! I'm wondering if I could use something like this for my anxiety issues cause I'm starting to get bad again. Almost had a panic attack in work tonight over nothing at all. It's exhausting trying to convince yourself there's nothing wrong when your mind and body is telling you there is!

So I actually ordered the Cocoa butter, sunflower lechitin, and an actual chocolate bar mold. I have a bunch of molds, but not a chocolate bar mold. Got 2 for 7.99. they have 24 pieces per bar. Amazon is insanely fast on this order, it arrives today. I was going to use Coconut oil and a different mold, but since my order will be here in a few hours I can wait. I really like the idea of the bar being one piece that can be broken off into equal portions. Makes it easier to pour the chocolate into vs placing in a separation mold. So I have a quick question. I pressed enough for 1g of Rosin to try this out at first and will use 1-1.5g of Cocoa butter to Decarb in my Ardent. Would you use a whole Chocolate bar? I need to calculate the strength. IMPE you will not get a gram of rosin out of 7 g of bud. The % of THC has little to do with overall yield. The rest of your math is correct.Hey @Mañ'O'Green , so please check if my calculations are correct. If I am using flowers, and the flowers are ~20% thc, and I intend to use 7 grams of flower, then I would have 1.05 grams or 1005mg, then divided by 24 pieces (if using the mold you are suggesting) would 41.875 per piece. So I would start with a half of piece for a dose of ~21mg. Does that sound correct?
