Oh, ok I know that 1 didn't make the connection lol. I have some gg4 from Fastbuds some great stuff for pressing. I have some gold glue not sure if that's the name it was a Illuminauto when I got it. Haven't grown yet, thought it would be good but maybe not.

i have a strange outlook on rosin,its just melted trichs
a visably sparklier bud will yield more regardless of strain,some trichs are oily some dry.still quite a bit of melted trichs stuck in and on the bud.a big press is big bucks,is it overkill for a home gamer even a good yield aint that great from flower.

I only put $310 usd for my pug & play and press. Not bad at all 6 ton press is more than adequate. I use to use a straightener they work and can make some nice rosin, but after using my press it is worth every penny spent. I see some people pressing 2-3 times with same puck, I only need to press once. There is very little left if any left after 1 press don't think it would be worth it. So you don't have to spend $1000+ on 1 to have a nice press. In the end its up to you if its worth the money, I used Xmass money to buy so didn't really cost me anything like a gift. If you don't want to use rosin much then use a straightener, but once you go rosin you won't go back lol.

Unfortunately you are wrong. Rosin is more than just melted Trichs and a visibly sparklier bud does not always mean better yield. Without a clamp you will not yield well regardless of what you are pressing. A big expensive press is not needed, but a clamp is needed for your homemade rosin making. In fact I prefer my clamp vs my expensive press. With Rosin making some buds will squish very well. Some Strains won't yield shit. I have had some strains yield very very well with very small amounts. And others that you could use 3x the flower and still yield less. Lots of factors with Rosin making, but if a strain doesn't yield well after a few tries it won't ever. Some Strains like CDLC are very potent, but won't press well. Don't waste your time, effort, and flower.

If you press a lot of fresh flower the hand clamp works better. Moisture level of buds is very important. If they are moist and you press super hard and quickly the bud will steam up and can explode. There is a users touch to Rosin making.

Here is some Fastberry at 230°f. Gonna play with it and see what different temps give. This was odd some was wax/paste like and some was like normal rosin.
