Old Reviews Any one used the six pot bubbly system sold by stealth hydro?

I know what you mean. Those Diaphragm pumps are loud. Especially one that could run your bubbly tank.:D
DWC is beginning to draw me away from my dirt farming. I might have to build one soon. I have 5 gallon buckets running out of my ears. I already have most of what I need to build one.

Thanks man for the info. I ordered the biggest fusion pump they had and a few air rocks.

I run a Fusion Quiet power pump and can barely hear it . I also have other pumps I use for higher air uses , but that Fusion runs the quietest

Well so much for that decision, to buy at Foster Smith they don't ship to Canada they have decided after quotting me a shipping cost. Waddafuck. So much for that idea. Guess it is off to Wallmarts to see what I can get there tomorrow for a bubbly pump.

I went to to look at those containers that you all call totes. I chose the Rubbermaid Roughneck series just like Bailer suggested. It is 24" long 16 " wide and 8.5 " deep. I laid out the top with a can top I have cut to exactly the right size I need. I wanted to leave room in the middle of the top just in case I felt it needed a stiffner. It is going to take 12 X 3 1/2 pots which are the same pots I use on main tank. I will probably not have any trouble tranferring them from the small tank to the big tank at 4 or 5 weeks or whenever they sex, as they usually have manageable roots by that age.

If this one works out well I will just go ahead and do another one so I will have 24 starts possible. I will then have 93 plants in rotation in the bubbly syentem.

Do any of you think converting this tote to a bubbly start box should be followed along a step by step new construction thread with photos? Or should I just add the finished product to my bubble tank thread? You guys decide.

I think it would be a great idea, for a do it yourself thread. Too many new growers don't realize that they can build a lot of equiptment, far cheaper than they can buy it.

Thanks

It can be helpful to anyone wanting to build their own, if you did a little right up with pictures. I think that's a good idea.

OK Jackal and Homie two votes yes. I will do a picture and write up as I go that way everyone can tell me what they like and don't like. First question do it on this thread or start a new thread?

I would just start a new thread, so you can rename the thread. Throw in DIY or something along the lines.

Make a plastic tote into a DIY Bubbly Tank for initial groth. How about that Jackal?
