Blue Dream is looking cool and almost finished, the crazy leaves are looking almost deficient at this point, but not going to do anything 'bout it haha.

CHOP TIME: HSO Blue Dream auto, D73 I think.
Wet: 52g :/ not great but I knew it was a low yield strain.
About 7% ambers, went long enough for me :)

Ah yes, you can now see the weird structure I mentioned several times during the grow. It's not the usual Christmas tree shape, it's skinny at the bottom and top, fat in the middle hehe.
+
If ya follow my cuts, you'll know I like to leave any well coated sugar leaves on to the finished product. I don't mind a little bit of leaf, and believe it does hold some medicinal value.

Hang out time :p

Now I've left a stump again with two branches. One is theoretically pollinated with Red Poison feminized pollen, we'll see soon enough I suppose haha!

And a branch about 2/3 through reversal, just for practice and fun, don't have any particular breeding ideas in mind with it.

One word STELLAR anthropolis. If she smokes the way she looks you are going to be HIGH

Quick text update:
-
The Blue Dream auto is drying nicely, but boy does it shrink :/ yield lookin sad, but not horrible. I think this strain would benefit from a nice DWC, or a bunch of soil plants. Unless it's strength is astronomical, and by the looks of the trichs it well might be, just 1 soil auto plant is not going to be worth it. I would say spend the extra 4~5 weeks and do the photoperiod version and get 10x the yield.
-
The big ass TH Seeds Bubblegum Auto (#2) harvested recently is just starting cure, still venting off lots of chlorophyll gas but RH has stabilized and will go to sealed stage soon. Aside from the venting chlorophyll smells, it does have a lovely set of scents :) This was a winner pheno, and thankfully so, as the Bubblegum #1 is almost unsmokable garbage haha. But I've put away Bubblegum #1 in the back of the closet for the lonnnnng cure. "set it, and forget it" haha :p
-
Red Poison #2 has used up about 2/3 her leaves, ahead of the maturity of the pistils, but like I said I had noticed this happen with my long stunted stuck plants. Think she'll be ready to chop about Christmas time or just prior.
-
Afghan Kush Ryder is finishing fast now, think she's about D 75 or 76. All pistils turned now, and first node of fan leaves used up. Fattening up nice too! Her yield is going to be pretty decent for a short lil stubby girl.
-
Still no signs of seeds from the pollinated branches on the harvested stumps hahhaa. Still surprisingly healthy though.
-
The reversed branches of the AKR and Blue Dream are looking excellent, noticeable pollen pods forming, should have collectable pollen in a couple weeks :) I want that AKR pollen bad! I'm raising a small container Dutch Passion AutoUltimate just for breeding, I plan to put the Afghan Kush Ryder pollen on a couple branches. If we can get some or all of the medicinal properties of AKR, but in a much bigger yield like the AutoUltimate, that would be excellent! :)
-
The Mephisto's are starting to hit that first growth spurt now! They're getting bigger faster and making some new leaves. Still just a couple nodes though. Although, I expect pistils anytime soon.
-
Side projects going well too. Okay that's enough blabbering for now lol. Thanks for visiting friends!

Congrats bro! That is some tastey looking bud! :)...if u bring that kinda quality to the beer can challenge your gonna be a serious contender!
Cheers

A quick-dried nug pic of the Blue Dream auto ;) looks just about like the photoperiod BD I've had, although a bit more whispy. Almost solid chunks of Trichome some places hehe!

Final dried pics of the Blue Dream auto. Weight is really sad haha, but the taste is worth it. 12g after taking a gram for sampling. Oh, but I lost two branches, one to reversing and one for pollination, so it would have several more grams normally :)

Somehow it dried way too fast in the tent, but it's still delicious! This is the only second strain that I've grown which is totally smokeable right off the plant before curing! The other being Red Poison. It's quite strong too, and extremely sticky!

Tastes like a soft heavenly cloud, mixed with joy and some blue flavor haha!

It was my second best tasting plant yet, the first being Red Poison :) I'm really hoping that the Red P pollen took on that one branch, because it's a cross that NEEDS to happen haha.
