Ive been watching the forums for quite a while and decided to make an account to communicate and contribute anything that a new grower can. I finished my VERY FIRST grow of 2 DNA Genetics 60 day wonders with a dried and cured weight of 43 grams (i had a few probs with them but ive learned from past mistakes). Im currently on my 2nd grow of the 2 freebie seeds Afghan Kush x Skunk and Northern Lights x Skunk that came with them. I originally started with a Sun Systems 150w HPS, but have moved to a 240w Blackstar recently do to heat issues. Just figured i would say hi to the forum community! And let me say, its alot easier said then done!

TYVM my first run were auto's the freebies are photo......2 weeks into flower and i already like autos better. Less technical maintenance. I work enough hours per week, sucks to get home and not have enough "care" time before lights out. Me and the fiance are on opposite shift hours and they arent in a tent atm (difficult to explain but it works even for photos for the time) so the schedual doesnt leave me alot of time to care for a photo after i get home without risk of light leak etc.

I have the same freebie photos growing outside atm. I started to flower them inside my tent but changed my mind and went back to autos. They seem easier to me also.

Im looking into a tent because i still have heat issues even with an LED light. Im looking at the Secret Jardin DR90 tent. Also tempted to try a DWC after seeing Seymour's Think Differnt run. Im currently in Pro-Mix hand watering with local brand GROW 7-9-5 and BLOOM 3-12-6 nutes. Also adding in Superthrive ( im a newb dont hate, any input from all welcome), Botannicare Liquid Karma for bloom, as well as blackstrap molassas, to keep the microbes in the pro-mix happy. I used LST on these newest plants, and im quite happy with the results compared to my first grow!

If you're having heat issues you probably wanna stay in the soil mix. You have to be able to keep your res cool for dwc. I'm not hating on superthrive cause I use it too. The rest of your nutes lineup looks good too.

Hay treefarmer welcome to the best site on the web,I have a free photo too but I have it in my grow room along side my autos,I will veg it for 6 weeks at the 20/4 light cycle then pop her outside to flower.

Technically my 2 plants are in a spare apartment shower......it shames me to admit it. id post pics if my phone wasnt giving me fits, ill post when i can. Im in the Ohio Valley region of the US. Its hot and humid as hell during summer, and with the grow space the way it is, i cant get fresh air in which is causing my heat issues. once i get a tent, the negative pressure the fan will pull fresh air in for circulation. as of right now im doin the best i can even if it is rigged up. On the plus side running 2 60 day Wonders for 1.5 oz dry for a first newbie run isnt too bad (even tho i stunted them lol) live and learn!
