New Grower AN northern light first grow!!

Hey brother,
Personally, I like to jump into things with both feet. That being said, I would try some LST on one or two plants. But that is just me, as I did with great results with my first grow.

Wishing you all the best with your grow what ever you decide to do.

Peace

I agree with atrain...learning to grow solid healthy plants will be the biggest benefit!!

But then again...stickman described me to a tee...I am a full steam ahead kind of guy. LST training does work, and i would be trying it on a plant or two just to view the difference. Either way...grow a healthy plant and you will be rewarded. Its the true building block to grow success.

Thanks guys. I agree, I want to learn the art of growing healthy plants before I start to dabble in training techniques. But just like you guys I like to dive right.... so I will try on 2 girls and observe the differences.

Question for you experienced growers that are watching.
Been reading alot about lst training. I haven't made a decision on with it will benefit me or not. I do have 6 girls in a 3.5x3.5' space now. (I know it's going to get cramped in there)
So the question is what are your thoughts on lst for my setup? I have to admit this being my first grow I am somewhat hesitant to do this.

Thanks guys and sorry for keep tagging you

6 plants in 12.5 Sq ft... yeah.. that'll be crowded. Provided they all grow as they should, I don't see how your going to manage without some LST. Figure out were you want everybody to finish, and then begin training. I'd probably draw a diagram myself, your going to need to train the girls to give each maximum light and space. If the grow continues well, your gonna end up with a solid canopy, be on the watch for high humidity as it all closes in! Best of luck, I'm tagged in... I've got a couple NL outdoors in the ground, @ about 18 days, it'll be interesting to watch indoor and outdoor performance of the strain. Who's the seed source?
Mine is 00.

Crop kings for the NL's and and green house for the k8nga

I do it all the time in my grows but my reasoning for LST is that I have height restrictions and I need to do it or my girls would be kissing the light. I can not comment weather it gives more yield or not as I have not grown a plant with out it... Give it go (its all about trial and error) I would start small with a bit of bowl training... pulling the side branches out and tying them down when she is full flower to open up the middle.... here's a link to a page with a load tut vids with one on bowl training.
Mind you if I could I would just leave the girls to do there thing but I have to train.

Thanks for the reply guys. So I've been doing a ton of research on lst training. I got the idea Down tight. Anchor stem bend and keep the tallest ones bent.
My question is when do I start?
I've read 20 different threads and almost everyone had a different idea.
I am currently on day 17 as you know if you've followed this. My nodes are super tight together like 1 cm if that apart.
I will post pics and update tomorrow.
Thanks in advance!
