Hi Guys, i have recently joined this forum. I am a new grower in South Africa and thought i might as well experiment a bit with my plant.
I have decided to see how the plant would do if i put it in the outdoor sun during the day and indoors under a big 250 Watt CFL bulb(i also have a 60 true watt Led i could add once the plant is abit bigger, what do you guys think?) My plant gets about 20 hours of mixed direct sun/light a day.

Anyways my plant is 26 days old and i started to low stress train it at about day 15. I just want to get your opinions on if it looks like its on the right track for her age? and basically any input you guys have with experience.(BTW i am using the biobizz nutrient range)

You will see one picture that has a collage of 3 pictures(this is week 1-3)
Then the other pictures are of day 25 and day 26. Day 26 is when i have started LST with the side branches and is my most recent update on how it looks.

P.S i know the one leaf is a bit funky as it have a miner in there but i took care of it.(I did not want to cut as it might cause stress or do you think this would be best to cut it off?)
:)

Your plant looks OK. My first suggestion is to fill your pot to the rim before planting your seed … depth of soil can be a factor in plant size. Sunlight is good but it can result in bringing bugs in from outdoors. If it were my plant I would remove the LST and let it grow … LST has it's uses as does "pony tailing" but a small dense plant should be allowed to grow rather than making it shorter and more dense … When I LST I do it to open the plant up to additional light and to maintain an even canopy … your plant doesn't look like it needs to be kept short and at 26 days it should be well into flowering …

HI there, thanks for the input. I think in this case the Lst helped quite abit as you will see a picture I am adding now, was exactly a week ago. It definitely helped with bringing the lower branches out, as I felt the nodes were not that tight together. I have just planted another seed and have added soil to the brim as I was impatient with the last one because I ran out of my medium I was using (lazy mistake). My plant is now showing signs of preflower so I am quite happy it took as long as it did so the plant could get to a nice size.

Thanks for your input
