This is my first grow(obviously) and my seedlings havent changed or grown in 5 days. I put seeds in soil 11 days ago and they popped 5 days after. They shot up for a few days(yes i have lowered the light because they seemed very stretched) but really havent changed since then.... they look healthy as far as i can tell. What does everyone think? Am i just tyring to rush them? Thanks

soil is local potting soil with perlite
temps are 65-80 degrees
light misting with spray bottle
water every other day
400mh bulb about 12 inches away 20/4 on timer

always starts off slow. I think by day 10 or so you should see a lot more growth starting. Your girls look great so far. They are working on the roots underneath so the growth up top is always slow at the start.

cool thanks anasazi, so you think around day 10 above ground? I kinda figured they were fine cuz they look nice and green not drooping or yellow at all

As long as the have a healthy appearance just let it be and keep doing your thing brother

you're good...nothing to sweat yet.

...as of yet. Not as in "impending doom" - :)

Do you think i should bank soil up around the stretched stems once they start growing to support them?

nope, in fact they would benefit by just a little, indirect, oscillating breeze....give them a little shimmy....
they will grow thicker stalks to compensate.
