OK so I've decided on the lights.
What I'm going to do for this grow is leave it the way it is right now.
BUT if I am able to get to IKEA to get an extra lamp holder I will add another cfl.
the next upgrade I'm doing will be LED and I'm thinking of buying these:
http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/2PCs-VI...Bottle_Warmers_Coolers_LE&hash=item2c916282ec
which will mean I'll be using 2x 135 Watt led + 150 Watt CFL 2700K + 45 Watt 6500 K = 465 Watt's of light + if I buy more CFL's it will be 500 Watt's and up.
After that I'll start saving for HID, HPS, etc.. so I'll add that too but later on.
Why I'm doing it like this?
Lights that generate too much heat will acquire me to invest in stuff to cool my closet and costs will increase into ranges I will not be able to pay. leaving me with lamps etc.. that I will not be able to use until I have everything I need. I think this is the smarter move of gradually upping my game. + I really want to have LED's right now so when I add HPS or HID or anything else which get's hot I will be able to use my cfl's and led's as side lights, this so that I can work out a system to keep the hot lights on top and create an air stream that'll keep them cool without cooling my entire growroom. and so that the warmth of the LED's and CFL's will warm-up my room onto a steady 26°C.
UPDATE!
- I have been working on my closet a lot I now am extracting air out of my closet with 1 fan and moving air in to my closet with another.
+ 2 holes just in case
(This used to be 1 extracting + 1 blowing onto my plant and just 1 hole to make fresh air come in without a fan)
- I added a humidity/temperature meter:
readings so far:
- Temperature is going up and down between 24°C and 27°C
- Humidity goes up and down between 44% and 55%
- Added a digital timer and my set-up now switches on/off 18/6 which I'll switch to 20/4 when growing stops and she goes into full flower.
here are some pictures of what she looks like right now! BTW she finally started stretching!
