New Grower Alijay's Auto Grow

Sounds great! I will do that. I was afraid of Topping since I read so many different opinions on the Subject regarding Autoflowering Topping.

They have 18 days now. So we currently on the third week. I will follow your tip's and also keep the Post Updated for further advices.

Also thank you so much for you prompt reply, and advices! Very happy to have found this community!

PS: Can I keep this Thread Open? Or should it be under a different category?)

@Alijay I wouldn't worry too much hun. It's your first grow so your bound to be uneasy but just sit back and watch her grow! My first few years growing were with biobizz and allmix so it's a great easy way to start! You're on the right track!

Seedlings going through veg always seem to grow dreadfully slow. The first two weeks always have explosive growth as the plant is coming alive. Right now your plant is doing the majority of it's work underneath the soil. Give it a week or two and once the roots stretch out you'll see growth above ground again.

Personally I didn't use any meters when growing organic with biobizz the soil buffers the pH and I don't really see the point in measuring ppm. I give quarter, half, 3/4 full doses! Imo ppm is only valuable when growing hydro.

In regards to growing with no ventilation, I've been there, just watch your temps.

Continue doing what you are doing, don't panic, only water when dry and sit back and enjoy the show!
@Alijay remember the pot test use that to tell u when to water it's the best way for 10g and under this is important as over watering will cause droopy leaves ect stunt growth and can cause ph swings and root rot just lift the pot up to see how heavy it is if u just watered today/lastnight check now as a reference to see difference in a few days. Ppm is important in any grow style organic or otherwise same with ph, the harder ur plant has to work to uptake nutes also ph swing can cause problems ie over watering so it's something to watch it also will luk wat ur plants like for example I ran a full organic coco grow awhile back and it was having serious problems when I treated it as hydro watering @ 5.8 to 6.0 ph when I flushed it with 6.5 6.7 ph water like I use in soil it exploded and was perfect I can say the same for organic 6.5 to 6.8 is there happy spot when I water lazy not ph ing my soil ladies it's 7.5ph from tap they are noticeable unhappy. Not all tap or well water is good I've seen people's water @ 400ppm and a ph of 8 not good do an experiment with one I bet the one that's more pampered ph and ppm wise will grow faster and healthier. You can certainly use a wide range and it will grow and produce bud but there is a big difference between getting by and nailing it I mean we want the best quality right ? Ne ways when picks come up we will no more also remember some phenotypes are just picky and it's hard to keep them happy.

You can ask a mod to move it to new growers section also take a look hear under indoors growers mephisto/my crosses and you cam see some experiments with ph in both soil and coco

It's a plant it will grow regardless. It's your plant, so do what you want. Top or not, it's still going to produce bud.

If you are really worried about water quality, check your local water company for the water report. Generally speaking, if it's good enough to drink, it's good enough for your plants. My water pH is in the acceptable range for soil. I pH for coco and never done pure hydro (other than kratky spinach, but that doesn't count!). Check your water report as it will also tell you whether your water supply has chloramine. It's your grow so can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be.

Start a grow journal separately or ask for this to be put in the new growers section.

@Fitzy Thank you so much for your explanation. Also for sharing your knowledge on the subject helps to understand more even though for now I will keep it more simple, but for sure will take into account your advise! Learning more about pH also will help to improve my growing. for the next one might try it.

@Mary Djayne Thank you for your insights and for taking time to reply and share. I will post a photo of them later when they wake up. Look forward for your feedback.

Today she seems very weak, leafs still dropping. But I find that the stem is hard only the leaf is dropping.. Update later..

I'd say a couple days at least but you will know. Personally, I find it better to train gently, little and often, rather than all at once. I get most of my training damage from trying to do too much too soon. If you do it and it feels like too much, it probably is. Just dial it back a bit and try again in a couple days. She's little so you'll probably have to do more training as she grows anyway depending on the type of plant you want. Pay attention to your plant and see how she gets on. Have fun and go for it!

Thank you very much @Mary Djayne.

Here is an update from today. Still ''Bubble B'' Continues to decline and ''Bubble A'' is thriving for real a beauty.

I still wonder what might be, since both get the same light, feed, soil, water.

Actually the one that looks less developed, was the strongest one during the first 17 days of life.

20 Days:

Here some new pictures:

Hmmmm, from here she doesn't look to be declining. A little small but not dying. B seems to have the same level of growth as A, just on a smaller scale. Maybe take a pic in natural light so can see the colour.

both get the same light, feed, soil, water.

You may need to experiment with the amounts of feed/water etc. Or she may just be a runt. Perhaps someone else can see what I can't!

I understand. I will post new pictures soon when they end their sleep cycle.

I was afraid that I was giving to B bu both get same amount. Also The soil is dry on the surface but wet below.

I also often change their position so they get more or less same conditions every time. I'm afraid to feed them to much, even thought hey only have been fed Biogrow for the first time on day 18.
I will wait until Monday and feed them Biogrow again. Also I fed them Bacto Hemp, but I don't know if should do it again. Any thoughts not that?

Also you have any recommendation when to start Top Max and Bio Bloom?
According to their schedule I should start on Week 3, but I started Bio Grow on Week 3 since previously I only gave them water.
