New Grower AK49ER" First Grow

Day 20 update

IMG_8905.jpgIMG_8899.jpgIMG_8898.jpgIMG_8904.jpgIMG_8900.jpgHere are the girls at age 20 days....small one is Ultraviolet at 13 days....largest Carpathian Mazar and Nirvana Bubblicious..seem in good health and seem to be taking off just last day...I swear the Bubble has grown from 7:00am to noon when I last looked...not to say that I expect any to be giant

Slight nute burn? Bubbleicious day 27

IMG_8908.jpgIMG_8909.jpgIMG_8910.jpgPlants are healthy but the Bubbleicious started showing the slight brown tips last day or two....Ultraviolet the same but slighter and Mazar maybe a leaf....this is day 27 on TaNg schedule which I have adhered to...think it is slight nute burn...was planning on just watering until 30day flush...good idea or flush now or do nothing and feed probably one more time before 30 day flush?...plants are growing well, except for the Ultra which has always been stunted, they are on the short side about 7 in and in pre flower...these shots are all Bubbleicious

Possibly nutrient burn. Check soil ph just to be sure nothing is getting locked out. If soil ph is good maybe just back your A & B nutrients down a little. Remember Tangs schedule is a guideline. If your plants are not done with there stretch I would stay on veg nutrients for a little longer and then flush.

Thanks for the input Steel...yeah ph in promix has always been 6.7 and I ph feed down to 6.4 or so after nutes have bubbled overnight..probably gave them too much feed in terms of quantity.....yeah I wasn't going to stop veg nutrients until they stopped stretching just wondering if i should flush if tip burn continues...is flushing a stress on the plants?...hey thanks again

I did a flush at 30 days just to clean out the salts from the last twenty days of nutrients then went right back to veg for another 10 days because my girls were still stretching. The flush actually seemed to help I think. They grew pretty fast after the flush. Of course it could have just been coincidence.
My plants are also expected to go 80 days before harvest, so the extra 10 days of veg nutrients didn't really throw me off Tangs schedule. I will still get 30 days of bloom nutrients with a good 10 day flush.

The consensus is that the last 2 weeks of veg is the fastest growth spurt on autos, week 4,5,6 depending on the strain. Try waiting the extra 10 days before the flush next time, then flush them with plain water and make a solution with your first flower feed and top them off, durring the flush with that and see what happens. Most autos will still stretch a bit even after flower nutes. Technically, the NITROGEN numbers are about the same on the Grow/Bloom on the sensi line, so it would make sense for there to be some stretch in veg.

TaNg ran the Sensi bloom through a whole grow, start to finish and said essentially if you crunch the numbers on the nitrogen on that grow, they were getting more N and were some big, stellar plants.

Flushing is a stress, but they can take a bit of stress, if you dont flush between veg and flower, you could eventually get lockout, due to salt buildup in the last few weeks of flower, which is when you dont want any deficiencies at that stage in the grow. That will overall shrink your yield.

Steel...briman...thanks for the input.....I just watered them for a day or so and gave them a feed of reduced nutes...Mazar and Bubbleicious look very healthy...with this advice I will wait until closer to 40 or so to flush ,it " feels " better for the plants anyway...since I know little I tend to lock in to anothers schedule..be a while before I get a feel for this ,assuming I will :)..appreciate you guys checking in and sharing

30 days old Carpathian Mazar and Nirvana Bubbleicious

  • 30 days and with the exception of a little nute burn Mazar and Bubbleicious are doing well...the Ultraviolet at 22 days is skinny and probable a wash out but I will keep it going because I don't know any better...they are all about 10 in high have no idea why but are growing and bushing out..first two are MazarIMG_8918.jpgIMG_8920.jpgIMG_8925.jpgIMG_8922.jpg

I am so lame when it comes to adding photos...these are the Bubbleicious and Mazar about day 45....I was truly amazed how much the plants took off after 30 days..Mazar is 19 in and very bushy and Bubbeicious is 31 in...Briman thanks for the suggestion to wait until about 40 days for the flush..had a some apparent Cal/mg deficiency show up on all plants a day after flushing even though I have been giving Cal/mg since very early in grow....bumped it up and not seeing any further spread....also I must thanks all involved on setting up the new site..it was a lot of work and I appreciate it..this whole place is pretty incredible!

told you I was lame ...the photos don't expand...I will try again
