Hi guys.I use the vitamin C trick to neutralize chlorines and chloramines as a wise man here told me.But I want to take It further,I want to areate 1 GAL of water at time in a bottle to try remove some PPm or help declorinating my hard Tap water. What size of air pump do I Need?
I use liters by the way,One gallon Is 3,7 liters roughly

I don't use an air pump but, I do cycle the water to mix, aerate, and offgas the chlorine. I also use the vit C trick. I put a small aquarium pump in the bottom of a bucket and clamp the end of the hose to the edge so it falls a few inches back in. Seems to work well.

It wont drop the ppm unless you blend in some R/O or distilled water. I cut my tap water 50/50 with jugs of distilled from the store. I found cheap aquarium/fountain pumps at homedepot. Like $10-20 cheap.

Here's the Lowes version: $15
