Indoor Airpots and Aeropress Perpetual Noob Grow

https://www.mars-hydro.com/ Pretty much anything to fit your budget too. And if I've heard correctly, AFN members get a discount? My area is smaller but @MarshydroTina recommended the "Reflector 48" which covers a 2'×2' area and was only about $100. So the next model up should get you where you need to be. I know a few people on here have used them. @MissUniverse got a used Mars 300 for about $70 and is doing awesome with it. They'll sure surprise the sh*t out of you haha. But I wish you luck man and keep us posted!
Just check around and you can find Mars hydro equipment cheap. Amazon has them cheap and I've been getting good results. I go organic with minimal nuts and here's what I have as of day 29 from germination (so really about day 25) of a Mephisto toof decay which tents to not be as tall as some. And with being so confined in space, it can do a lot. Good luck

Cheers guys and gals. I think I may have been harsh on Mars for their looks, after seeing the pro range online I do think they are going in the right direction. The models make more sense now, looking on Ebay and Amazon, it got confusing seeing so many models all claim to be the best on the market :P

:pass:

I have made my choice now, Amazon are selling the Reflector 96 for £147.99, if I can get the extra funds past the wife :amazon:.
If not, I'll have to settle for a Reflector 48. There are a few on gumtree in my area (lol) for about £40.
Come to think of it, I could get 2 second hand ones and set them up at an angle, maybe?

Hmm... :pass:

Looks can be deceiving. Some of the best smoke i've ever had came from set ups that look like they were jimmyrigged. I came to find out that these people spent over TEN YEARS perfecting the way they ran the lights, the cords and everything.
Everyone claims to be the best, there;s a section on AFN about led's and i forget if it was there or in a video that i saw someone talking about how all led's are coming from one or two manufacturers in china and have the same internal parts, its just the outside that's different.

You can always save up your pocket change like I do. I find in a month's time I can save up about $50 USD (approx 38GBP) in just pocket change. Piggy banks are still useful in this day and age :)
If you get a second hand set, make sure they are in good shape and they aren't from someone trying to catch growers. I know a few people in eastern parts of the USA who have bought second hand equipment only to be busted because of buying the equipment from under covers. Although, i did read something about your government not going after home growers anymore. not sure how valid that one is or not. but there's way more important things than busting someone whose growing for their own use.

I've got a reflector (green one) and a mars 2 (black/graphite one).

The white ones are the mars 1.

@witchyhour uses mars 1 and some (I think) cheaper ones as side lights and is pushing towards half pound plants.

I believe they had some counterfeit issues, which isn't really down to them.

Apart from 1 single blue led that sometimes doesn't strike up (out of .... erm... a lot) I've had no issues.

They are a bit on the hefty side, so if you have a cheap tent (plastic joints) you may have to reinforce.

Itisi
it is isn't it?
I have a lot of Mars300's, a couple if Mars600's and one ViparSpectra 450W and two ViparSpectra 1200W.

If you don't care for Mars, check out the ViparSpectra. Their price is slightly higher than the Mars, but it feels like higher quality.

I've only had one problem with one of my Mars, the fan inside stopped working. I just put a fan right on top of it and it works fine, didn't want to deal with exchanging it, etc.

I have to say that I love my ViparSpectra lights. Good luck!

Well, the Reflector 96 is out the question until the car is fixed (apparently this is called "compromising") :pighug:
so, the Plan B;

*Buy 1 Reflector 48 (roughly £90)

Place it at the front of my tent and have the 250w HPS at the rear which is closer to the vent duct... Next month's pay (approx day 32), get the other Reflector 48 and ditch the HPS.

Cheers everyone! You have all done MarsHydro a good rep, I'm converted. :smoking:

Well all 3 pips have popped! That was faster than the last grow, must be the warmer weather.

I'll put 1 in a 1L AirPot just to test the theory and the other 2 straight into 15L AirPots.

I'll Take pics when they pop out to say hello. I seem to have corrupted the last set of pics using a mobile app to strip EXIF data, it was only seeds in water though lol!

Thanks for stopping by

Sweeeeeet! Looking forward to it!!!

:pass:Well, what a week. Few staff, sorry, partners, are on the sick so I have been stuck on 11 hour shifts to pull in the slack. Plants have been tended to by the better half as I was pretty much work-eat-sleep-repeat.

Few pics I got over the weekend... ok maybe not. Seems to be refusing uploads right now. I'll try again via laptop when I get home. Probs the wifi on this bus.

All is looking good. Due to be fed this week. Time for some PH Perfect Sensi (cheers to @TaNg for the feeding schedule).

Peace out and pipe up! :pass:
