Hey ripster. Here's a pic of the 3.4 gallon pot.
The bottom is hard plastic. I have a handful of rubbermaid bins and lunch trays laying around that I place under the pots when watering. I pour runoff into a cup to check pH.
I would think using that size Air-pot would probably be about the equivalent of growing in a 5 gallon bucket. Your line of thinking is the same as mine with the 0.3 gallons. I would think that the 3.4 gallon would allow for some pretty decent size photo plants. The two plants I currently have growing in the 1.5 gallon Air-pots are almost twice size as the ones I grew in 3 gallon pots, and they each have about a month and a half to go. I'm blown away by them. Can't wait to do a bunch of starts for the veggie garden in them!
Perfect KS, thanks for the info...+rep my man...Well, I have to spread the love I guess, sorry.
