How much wind movement do I really need for growing indoors if high temps are not an issue ?
My fluro hood takes up all the room (front to back/side to side) & the buckets take all the space on the floors footprint so don't know where to get the air flowing through the closet or if I even need it.

You need at least enough movement to gently vibrate or sway your plants. Without it the stalks will not get strong enough to support the weight of the buds. I have mine attached to the side wall, about 15" off the floor, pointing at a slight down angle. Works well.

I use two smaller fans at the tops, and i as well point them slightly down like muddy.

I also have negative pressure on my sealed room, the air gets drawn in through an intake on the floor and then up through the plants and then out into the filter system.
this allows enough movement to get the stems sturdy for the buds.

I'd say the more the better.. just don't go so far as to get wind burn. I use a Vornado fan that's planted slightly up at my cooltube but hits all the plants in my grow closet.. with that + silica nutes my stems are nice and hardy.

I too have space issues inside, so I mounted an inline fan to the door (plywood now) and drilled a hole in the door to put a flange on and duct everything out to wherever I want... Inside I have a small fan for circulation that can be hung to the side or light chains if need be...
