Yeah just tagging and sign for me, I only grow for my personal recreational use and I give some away to mates, I do suffer from insomnia if I don't smoke but that's probably because I've been smoking weed since I was 14 lol so probably can't call it a medical condition!
But being part of a cannabis club is pretty cool and if it can help me legally if I am unlucky enough to get busted then I'm all for it

I am medical ,,, but I grow a crazy amount of small plants, so for example I would need 24 tags today, so whilst I think it's a great idea the practicalities of it wouldn't help me either way ,,,also I only ever have a few bigger plants at one time which often leaves me short anyways ,the more I grow the more I smoke ,,,, so the collective share wouldn't benefit anyone else , unless I start to grow big boy plants lol

Another thing is security ,and whilst I trust you all in here, every time you give your address out or your grans address it is a leak ,,, I have given my details to a few but getting into larger circles is something I wouldn't be happy to do ,,, I think it was last year that tang got compromised and done over in his own house ,,like he said he has over the years given his address out countless times and couldn't put a finger on who sent the muscle around to his house ,, I think he ended up having to move ,,
Another thought is would a sherrif even take notice of it or see it as a further attempt to try and corrupt the norms of society and the law and hit you harder once he found out your supplying other people even in good will and actively joining a group to support others trying to do the same ,,,
as I undersatand it and @Spanglish who might be too busy to input on this ,,the Spanish model all ready had a no prosecute if found growing so long as for home consumption was ok, we ain't even at that point in the UK ,, it's a post code lottery and how much the copper is a jobs worth if it's taken any further than a consification of your plants or your arrested and up before the sherrif ,,, no one local to me knows I grow and I prefer it that way ,,,

But I intrested to hear what your all thinking about this so I will be back to see what's said

It seems we are all singing from the same hymn book.

The tagging is a good idea but, we all have enough free loading pals smoking our weed already.

So how about a garden registration and tagging system via afn?

For instance. I would register that I grow upto x amount of plants and they supply me, the wife and pal a with medical weed and pal b and c with recreational weed in return for sharing the growing costs. You could register your style of grow with expected yields that could be verified by the experts on here. So @hairyman with 30 plants growing in thimbles would be treated the same as somebody growing a 1 kilo monster.

See to be fair I reckon the police will legalise it before the govornment does. It's basically legal in scotland anyway cos they just don't care anymore. Your allowed to carry small amounts for percy as of last january. Small scale grows don't really get you in trouble. £350 fine most of the time as long as there's no evidence of dealing and you're not taking the piss. Know a few guys been caught with 30-40oz worth and barely a slap on the wrists.
Certain police forces still take it seriously but I honestly reckon within 5-10 years the police will the stretched that thin that they won't have a choice but to officially decriminalise it wether the gov't agrees with them or not.

My mates currently in Barlinnie jail doin a 10 week remand for getting busted with two 2.4x1.2 in his bedroom! Probs would have got more if they found where i was taking the leccy from though!
Strathclydes finest are total cunts man, i got a 60 quid fine for walking along the street with a doob! A return flight to the dam was 38 quid that day, woulda been cheaper goin to the dam sitting in a coffee shop and blazing up fully legit lol!
Back to the matter at hand, i would be all in for joining this but currently the risks outweigh the benefits.
In my personal opinion, weed, especially growing it yourself and not buying it from a government profiting organisation will never truly be spoke about in parliament untill all the backbenchers die off! Those are the people that really make the decisions and revoke any proposition of legalising any drug!
As Prof David Nutt said, the hardest thing to get a politician to do is make something thats currently illegal, legal.

I'm not living in UK at the moment but spent all my life apart from the past year there. Would be interesting to see what comes of this idea
