It still doesn't play well with inserting images. Ya still have to jump thru hoops to get cursors where ya want with smilies and images.
It's like anything that is 'pasted, that is more than just text. ......doesn't want to play with this update.
On Firefox or in general? Because I'm not having any of those issues on Chrome. Do you just need some help figuring out how to properly post emoji's and images? Said in the most friendly and sincere way I can ask you that.
I mean here's my cursor.
Click into emoji's:
Insert wiggly guy; then hit the little X to close the window, and the emoji is inserted exactly where I intended, and the cursor is right after the emoji (how it should work.)
Now I'm going to insert a picture after the cursor:
To do that, click on "attach files on the bottom of the post box:
Find your image and click on "open". It will put your attached file into the post attachment list:
Click on the "Insert..." button for the image you want and it will turn into two buttons; one for Thumbnail (smaller image) or Full Image. Click on either and...
Here is my cursor
And now here below is the image properly inserted; with my cursor directly after it.
If you didn't know this (and this goes for everyone,) once the picture is inserted into the post, you can either press on it with your finger (if on your phone,) or click on it with your mouse, annnnnnd:
It gives you the ability to do some minor formatting on it, and the little black boxes in the corners of the picture allow you to resize it (whether mobile or desktop) on the go. This is pretty nifty; I use this ALL the time.
