I'm interested in using compressed c02 in my tent. What does one need to make this happen besides the c02 bottles? And is it possible to do in affordably for the initial equipment buy?

I have seen some home brew regulators for about $50. But isn't there more to it than that? Like a way to measure c02 and add it when needed?

I use the Enhancer bottle from TNB Naturals

You probably already know that an exhaust fan quickly expels co2, so that a closed system is required.

I heard that but havent thought much about it. I don't know I see myself doing a sealed tent now. But maybe in the future.

Humans and even larger pets are fairly good sources for raising CO2. For example, put the tent in your bedroom, or if you have a large dog, have it sleep in or near the tent.

Burning natural gas, propane, etc. makes a lot of CO2. Maybe if more heat is not a problem, consider adding a catalytic-type propane heater in the tent area (should be safer than open flames).

But you will need to have a more closed and controlled air circulation system, which gets complex. And excess CO2 levels (less O2) can be toxic, so you need to pay attention to safety, particularly if using any type of tank or CO2-generator system.

And your space is sealed too?
No, its not sealed. Its a standard tent. And the bottle works fine. Yes co2 gets out, but its also taken in by the plants. It doesn't have to be sealed, there are co2 products made specifically for tent growers.
