New Grower Aeroponic candy Kush and Massive Midget

Halfway there! Looking gorgeous and very healthy. i doubt either of these will get to 36", would be very surprised if they go over 30". You could alway spread them out a bit and do some LST to bring the main colas down a bit.

Thanks! The health and vigor seem very good.

Candy Kush: Strong bud formation on all 4 plants. Two are around 12-14 inches high. The other two are at 26 inches already. One of these is now the tallest plant and the other almost identical.

massive midget: All 5 are showing very good and very vigorous growth. None are runts and only one is looking like it wants to stretch along with the biggest candy kush. The consistency is really good. I'm wondering how these may be in a sea of green from seed ( or whether heavyweight has a photoperiod version). So many strains and so little time.

Ph 6.0
Ppm 1200
Added another 2 gallons of RO water and 50 ml AN Big bud
3 droppers ph down

Pics in next post

I saw the hem on Amazon. I'm going to talk to the people at my hydro store about them next time I go.

I am thinking about getting a couple smart pots and tiring to get a mother purple kush selected out of some cropking purple kush seeds. I grew a mixed bag of 3 white widow, 3 purple kush and 3 northern lights autos a few grows ago and I got a good variety of smoke from one harvest but didn't get the best out of any of them.

The purple kush suffered from nitrogen toxicity, clawing something awful. The white widow got quickly overshadowed by the PK and NL autos and the NL autos stretched a bit too much and.... Well, won't be doing that again. This Aeroflo rocks with small and uniform plants but is poor choice for larger plants, mixed grows and disparate nutrient requirements.

Here's been my feeding strategy:

Base:

Cal-mag 2ml per gallon
Gh flora nova 8ml per gallon
2 ml hydro guard per gallon

That put me at 1300 ppm.

Today, I was 2 gallons down and 1200 ppm before adding anything. So I added 2 Gallons of water, 25 ML flora nova and 25 ML big bud. My replacement strategy is to split replacement nutes with bloom boosters and FLORANOVA. I'll do a red change later this week, dial it all in one more time and run it until it is ready for the flush.

I check the girls about 5 times a day.

Day 44

Reservoir was two gallons low and measured 1310 ppm before refilling. I added two gallons of RO water. Ppm is now 1120. I'll check later to see where the reservoir stabilized and will add some FLORANOVA and big bud to re saturate the absorbed nutes.

Air temp 76 to 82 degrees. I added a small fan under the unit to blow fresh air from the bottom up, as well as to the sides.

The massive midget in the midsection has been churning lots of fresh vegetation and became a bush monster. I took the snips to it and thinned some of the lower stuff. Too many branches.

Thanks! I'm getting concerned that I didn't prune aggressively enough. I'll be happy when the stretch is over. It's going to get a little tight. One of the midgets and one of the Ck Are neck and neck pushing 30 inches now.

Took some measurements today. The tallest massive midget is now 33 inches and the biggest candy kush is 30 inches. All 5 midgets are between 26 and 33 inches. The shortest Candy kush is around 14 inches vs 30 for the largest. Big size differences between phenotypes.

Ive grown 6 candy kush now and theyve all been between 24 and 30 inches but ive seen loads of pheonos grown out here. Even a couple of 5 to 6 footers that had to go 12/12 to flower
