We chopped 6 days ago. I think the overdrive finished them unexpectedly quick because everything was done in about 70 days with 20 plus percent Amber on top colas.
After drying, trimming and weighing, I'm pretty happy with the final haul.
4 Candy Kush plants resulted in 141 grams for an average of around 35 grams per plant.
The massive midget yielded 252 grams from 5 plants for an average of 50 grams per plant.
I really like the midgets. The buds are large, dense and quite potent. Bigger buds are 2+ grams each. Here is a pic of one on top of the curing vault.
The Candy kush had several phenotypes and one was a frost monster but not any more potent than the less frosty and shorter phenotype.
The auto candy Kush is a nice strain but for the combination of smoke quality and yield, the massive midgets are significantly better in this grow, anyway.
Oh, I'm still thinking about the overdrive finishing nutes. I'm thinking they gave also given the plants a "flush effect". Mute concentrations remained at 1300 ppm throughout but everything had fall colors, dried leaves, hollow stems and Amber trichomes after 70 days from seed. Immediately upon drying, the smoke is already very smooth and very potent in both the CK and MM. Also burns to nothing, leaving a beautiful white, fluffy ash.
After a good cure, this batch should be ROCKING.
I've already started 10 Mephistopheles sour crack seeds and will be firing up that grow once the seeds are all ready for the rapid rooter plugs (later today).
