Broke out some of FD's Black Strap I grew... even tastes like cat piss soooooo...
I’m in the same boat - in all my grows the plants don’t get over 24 inches. I’m in a short tent though so I’m topping and training. If you want height you either have to go to hydro or stuff the tent to the gills.I'm still a rookie, maybe some day I'll morph into the more advanced growing like a lot of you good folks do. Right now it looks like I'm in a soil/dry amendments mode. Once I feel I am consistently growing healthy plants, I will dip my feet into other area's of growing.
To be honest, If I had a 20 oz harvest, I wouldn't know wth to do with it all.
I’m sort of the same way, everything gets me HAF. But I’m a lightweight. I’m more about particular plant structure now. A nice description/smells/etc is a small bonus that may influence me when looking for seeds.I’m in the same boat - in all my grows the plants don’t get over 24 inches. Those beauties look nice!
As for smells, I can get a hint at stuff, that’s about it. Some plants have more ‘flavor’ than others, but if you put a bunch of different bud in front of me I wouldnt be able to tell the difference.
Last grow was 7 gallon fabric pots, this grow were in 5 gallon. I'm in soil, using dry amendments. My grow technique is still considered organic, and its pretty cheap compared to many other methods. I don't have worms or anything, and I have yet to re-use my soil. But I hope to re-use my current soil.Op, what size pots do you use? Was told that pot size reflects plant size to a point. I think all conditions play a part. Temp, humidity, nutes and uptake of them. Lights also. I’ve seen monsters on here grown in 2-3 gal containers and I’ve personally grown runts in 5 gal sip buckets. Would love to go to water only organic but too expensive. In reg pots I like dry amendments and ph’d water. Very easy to maintain. That being said, I am attempting another round in 5g SIP’s cuz I know they can do well.
Same here in the photo grow I'm doing. Most smells and flavors are subjective but if it says citrus its usually lemon I smell. I've had some fruity aromas but flavor wasn't. Chocolate mint og auto had a coffee aroma and some flavor but the mint was more a bright light pine. The Twenty20 MMXX I'm growing is musky and dirty feet... Sometimes dog poop. Lol but when I work the plant it smells like lemon zest. It's very deep and complex.Last grow was 7 gallon fabric pots, this grow were in 5 gallon. I'm in soil, using dry amendments.
