New Grower Adventures of a noob grower.

Hey guys :) just wanted to chime in, definitely anything Sweet Seeds is amazing and can be rewarding, the Dark Devils, Red Poisons, and any Creams are awesome grows around here! I am just trying my first attempts with Tiresias Mist (spelling?) and finally have some feminized pollen sacs showing up yay! Took a couple weeks to work, and I was getting grumpy thinking it wasn't working, but finally sacs just started :) probably another couple weeks before they are ready... No idea actually lol... Just fyi, if you're thinking of trying it, it's sure worth a shot! I actually took two cuttings (of autos!) and rooted them and sprayed those instead of the recommended single branch of a plant. Not sure that's really the best way lol, but I thought it made sense at the time haha.

I was looking at that same spray. Did you spray the whole plant, or just a single bud?

Hmmmm... Brilliant!! I think FREE was telling me something about that a while back. For some reason, I'm just now realising exactly what he was talking about.:dunno:

ahhh with 2 lights my temp went up to 81f with ambient temp of 78f (my normal summer temp). Good thing its pretty much winter now. Temp in tent is hovering around 77f with ambient temp of 75f atm. At least I get to relax on that front for the next few months lol.

I have some worries though and maybe you guys can help me out. Humidity. Inside my tent the humidity is reaching as high as the 70's at night during lights out. I'm at the start of flower now, buds have just formed etc. Should I be worried? and if so, would leaving my exhaust on during lights out help reduce the humidity?

Leaving the exhaust on should help with that. Cut mine off a couple times, and the humidity shot right up. Cut it back on, and the humidity dropped. If the buds just formed, I don't think 70 should be too high at this immediate moment, but if you want a more solid answer, the live help thread is a sure bet.

Shit, it went to 86% last night lol. Saw that on the monitor and instantly plugged the fan in for 24/7. I can't risk getting any mold or bud rot or any of that shit. My plants are looking way too damn smexy for any of that nonsense. Such an exciting time in the grow too. Buds forming and getting fatter. I feel like I can finally start my bud blooming countdown timer. I think it's safe to say I have about 6-7 weeks left at this point. End of december is looking mighty good right now.

Can't even believe it's 72f in my tent right now. Winter is definitely here lol.

If you've got money to spare, consider looking into air purifiers called AirFree. They disinfect the air by running it through hot tubes. It's supposed to clean the air of fungi and bacteria and stuff..

I have one and it's a really neat device. I did a comparison with two identically handled strawberries, one of which I had in the same room with the purifier and the other was downstairs. The one in my room only dried up whereas the one downstairs quickly caught mold and turned into a raisin.

They're slow, sure, but they're also completely silent, cool looking and require no maintenance. Even at ~80% I think they should at least dramatically reduce the risk of mold.
:Sharing One:The purifiers, not the strawberries
