Grow Mediums Advanced Nutrients PH perfect simplified anybody?

For what it's worth the straight from the tap water theory is busted. Didn't even phase the PH, reading 7.8!! I don't get it... I know the PH pen is correct. I just picked it up and calibrated it after my other one when to hell...

Did another gallon of filtered water but rounded up this time (used 4ml's each nute so a total of 12). Ph'd at 5.9. Have an air stone in the jug to cook for an hour will check later.
Interesting hobby but when things go wrong it really tries one's patience haha! Have a great Labor Day!! I'm gonna be off tonight as well, work work work

Hey bro I used the Grand Master bundle with Sensi A and B in my last auto grow with 21 Think Different and Auto Wappa. I used 1/2 strength of base A and B the whole grow and never went to 4ml/liter always 2 and with the additives my ppm was averaging 1300-1500. When I went to 4ml/liter I got nute burn so I ran at 1/2. If you want to see the results from it click the link in my signature. I yielded 6.5 pounds from 21 and had bus bigger then 1 liter soda bottles. What I did with it was mix 30 gallons 3-4 days and had 2 air stones bubbling in the nutrients until I used them. I feed every 3-4 days in 5 and 7 gallon pots and with the ph perfect it was ph perfect my soil ph never left 6.5-6.6 but I did adjust ph in my res after mixing because it would be low due to using r/o water but once adjusted it would stay right on spot for the 3-4 days until use. I know use house and garden line because of a sponsorship from them but I have had a lot of ph issues so I may be going back to advanced after all except I will run Sensi A-B a few additives and House and Garden Roots Excelerator. When I mixed mine I also rounder up to 4 liter per gallon just to make it simple and things seemed to work perfect. The only issue I had was cal-mag but I just started using 2 tsp/gallon of cal-mag+ instead of 1tsp.... Hope you like it they are awesome nutrients and very easy to use. my bad bro I missed where you are in DWC. As a matter of fact im doing 2 Blue Dream in DWC under 2 240WATT LED panels using Advanced A-B cal-mag+ and voodoo juice and my ph has not stayed as stable as it did in my res.
I surrender! PH in my new gallon is at 6.8. I'm now firmly believing that one needs to have a R/O filter for this to work correctly, just as CGR said in his thread. Back to hovering on the hour with PH pen and PH Down in hand until the rez is stabilized
Thanks for all the help guys, it's been interesting for sure! I'm also finding that PPM over 100 is not a good thing for DWC... In the long run I guess it really is worth the extra effort
