Zero growth in a week.

I'm buying a 250-watt HPS light tomorrow. image.jpg

I figure if something can revive this plant, it's a new light system.

The plant looks healthy, just no bud growth. Right now, I figure I have 2 joints' worth. That's it.

the 250 watter will help it out big time , turn that 2 joints into 2 onces or more ...

When I first seen the title to the thread I thought it said - About to give up on this planet - haha

Sorry, I should've mentioned the strain. It's Northern Lights auto fem. I put her seed in the ground on Dec. 10.

I'm using a 15-watt LED grow light and 2 CFL's for side light. Temp is a steady 70 F.

Thanks, everyone, for any advice.

Considering the amount of light you're using, I'd say that plant is a complete success.

Thats kinda funny I thought the same thing. :haha:

I agree though that the new light will help a ton. I have mh/hps, cfl, and led. My personal favorite is the led, and you can do a grow on low wattage, but not all leds are created equal. Even from 1 vendor within the same batch there are variances.

What kind of led are you using? Is it a screw in bulb type? If it is rated at 15w, theres a good chance its only using 7.5-8w as most manufactures (everybody really) run them at =/<50% power. You may want to adjust your cfls to be more of a primary light and put the led on the side.

I have a micro cab with a diy fixture running ~38 actual watts, and it does a pretty good job. That is a 11"x13" area.

The 250w should make a great improvement in general though. By the time your are trimming her, you'll be surprised how much bud she gives you. :smoking: Good luck bud!

Thanks, everyone. I love this forum. Everyone is patient and helpful to us noobies, unlike some forums I've seen.

The new HPS light is on its way. For now, I've added 4 more CFL's and moved the LED to side lighting. Fingers crossed.

Thanks again!

Yeah this is a great place to learn, and have a good time doing it. I know every bodies circumstances are different, but if time/space allow it, I say never give up. Even if it sucks, grow it out, and figure out what went wrong. Learn from it, but most of all, enjoy the experience.

Even on a not so good grow you can still utilize the plant. You could always make a tincture, edibles, extracts for dabs. I had 2-2" plants get pollinated by that damn pollen fairy, and they produced almost no buds, but where loaded with tricomes on the bud that was there. I made some shatter out of them, and stayed pretty stoned for 5 days. It wasn't the 4oz I hoped for, but for what I got it was great! Grats on the light bud!:smoking:
