day 36
plants dont look very well,THEY LOOK SHIT should be flying now
and they aren`t. with a drop in temperature in uk and me growing in my concrete block shed its not looking
good. i wouldn`t want to live out there either, one of the main reasons i switched to autos from photos was so that i had a warmer
tent for my plants , 20 hrs warm ,4 chilly rather than 12 warm and 12 freezing.
trouble is this led doesn`t give off much heat and im not buying a 500w heater for it to go straight out the extractor .
im probably going straight back to hps. really pissed off cos i still haven`t got a grow out of this new light.
i can see me using led in spring to end summer and back to hps in autumn through winter.

Far from shit mate! Theyre healthy looking and a nice shape....maybe a bit slower than you would like but as you say its cold here....esp in the last few days.

Much as i would love to go led it would just be to cold. Thpugh i might have to in summer.

I think your girls will still fill the tent and give you a great harvest mate.

u would be suprised. led panels give off plently of heat in a closed up space. i run a 1000w Led panel. true watt 575w. i run this light in a 3X3 tent. im in uk always temps vary with the weather. but led panels do kick out alot of heat.think about that!! even when i switched from 600 hps to basic cheap led panels. i ran, 1000w of led, true watt 750.and temps always peach. hope this helps.happy growing every1

Might be a daft question but have you got a heater in the res mate? A £10 fish tank heater from amazon keeps my 205 whatever temp I want with ease. Can't see it being much more for a better one.

They are super healthy and really bushy. You are probably just use to the hps stretch. Don't give up yet!

My buddy is a hps guy and he was bragging about how much bigger his was. We had same strain dropped same day. His was 6ft mine was around 4ft. I brought .5 oz more than him with less problems and more trichomes. At that time i had 1 1200w 485w wall and some truck lights. He was running 600w and 400w hps. Only difference was his stretched 4ft before taking on a more compact structure.

thanks woody, ive got 50mm celetex allround and under my tank, it was a shock when all the leaves were clawing , will see how it goes
for this run ...the hps may come back before summer , atb

yeah hps do stretch , sometimes too much, i know its my 1st run with these but i cant even see double figures in there ! they may surprise me.

im in uk too buddy, down south,still not as cold as up north tho but still chilly.these strip lights are really cool,the drivers sre outside tent,
a mate had a couple of cheap leds and the pumped out heat cos they were all one unit, cheers
