If you’re not topping your plant that’s awesome. If you don’t want to do any training that’s awesome too. I‘ve always topped but I didn’t train on my first grow because at first it looked a little intimidating and my first grow was 6 plants in a 4x4 (
) so I was more concerned about just getting across the finish line than what kind of car I was driving..

You’ll learn something every grow that will serve as an improvement on the next one. I promise you that. I had one plant there start to get powdered mildew and I had to trash about 30% of that plant and do a cautionary bud wash on every bud in the tent. All turned out wonderful in the end but I learned the importance of proper airflow at the bottom and methodical defoliation/removal of leaves and growth. This led to a lot of experimenting on each plant in the tent whether it was to see how much defol I could get away with or how close to the light I could get etc and was immediately attracted to shaping the plants. And the bottoms now are free from clutter by selective removal so air from my fan can move up the plant, you’ll be doing this also whether you top or train or not…

If your a hands on person they really are like a blank canvas for you to create with. Picture what you’d like to see and make it happen. But you need to lose the fear of killing or damaging the plant for sure. Just go for it because failure means a lesson learned and dropping another bean big whoop.
