I go overkill with airflow a 6 inch inline and a 8 inch for exhaust I go overkill on light I let the plant grow to the light I never move them except up if needed it helps with stretch but do not be frugle with the light I run close to 1700 watts per 8x8 tent quantum boards at 240 watts a piece and use a tried an true base nutrient with minimal additives Keep it simple. I hope this might help a bit.
