Day 28
Sex has shown 9 females 1 male.
The 2 gallon up front is the lone Cherry Rush F2 male. It will be used with the other Cherry Rush F2 above. If autoflower trait is not present this go around. I will still end up crossing them together. Hopefully getting what I'm looking for in the F3

All JOTI - Blue Crush will be transplanted into bigger pots when I feel the roots are ready.

Day 33

I've made the decision to not breed the selected Cherry Rush F2 together. Autoflower trait is not present in either of them. I do however really like the male. Made the decision to eventually clone and use at a later date. The females will end up be flowered out

Transplanted 2 of 4 Blue Crush into 3 gallon pots. Thinking I might use Cherry Rush F2 male on one. Just have to see how things pan out

Plants looking nice, sometimes it's a good decision to not use the plants and grow some more seeds to find the parents for the new generation.

A test cross is always good. Keep us up to date.

Thanks brudda, The main reason I decided against breeding this time around. Is to see how CR F2 grows and smokes without being seeded. The female is nice and all for breeding. I just have a different path I want to take using just the male. I don't like the idea of two photosensitive. I did however consider it at one point.
Blue Crush on the other hand im considering pollinating.

Thanks brudda, The main reason I decided against breeding this time around. Is to see how CR F2 grows and smokes without being seeded. The female is nice and all for breeding. I just have a different path I want to take using just the male. I don't like the idea of two photosensitive. I did however consider it at one point.

I know what you mean all depends on the goal. My next grow will be also a non seeds run I think. I got some old Jaggen S2 seeds I want to pop to hold a new / oldskool mother . It's a jack flash cut made around year 2000 . In the running year I will make new S3 seeds or do some test crossed but the goal would be to have a nice old skool smoke.

Cherry Rush F2 male getting the chop. I ended up taking two clones for future projects.

Cherry Jem - (Jem F10 x Cherry Rush F1) is one I feel will solidfy the autoflower trait. Hopefully get some Cherry Queen leaners as well

The one and only female Cherry Rush F2. The pheno expression is interesting to say the least. She's very squat and slow growing as if it were autoflower. Ended up cropping the top to really bush it out.
