Well guys I'm finally going to grow some more autos, this time it's a test grow of Diesel Ryder from the independent breeder through Autobeanstalk.com.
Just dropped 9 regular seeds in a shot glass of water, will be planting them this weekend in 12 by 12 inch square pots filled with spent recycled soil and a light dose of one shot granules to get it by until sex shows. All Nectar for the Gods organic nutes for the rest of the grow... Everything will be under a 4 foot 432 watt t5 panel, at least to start with, if they need more they'll will be moved to a 600 watt hps for flower. If I can spare it, there will also be a 2 foot t5 panel side lighting the best plant/s. Lighting will be 20/4.

Bet you've never seen seeds in water before! :rolleyes1:

Well I just got home from a trade show for work and I'm beat! :snooze:
2 of the seeds have cracked open, just put them all in some rooters and will plant as soon as I see the first head pop up... Hopefully on sunday!

Well I've been sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out what to do with my mother plants, either way I will reclone them, and then either give em away to someone who needs a head start or put em outside and let em flower. If I keep them and flower them then I'll be over my 12 budding plant limit after getting 4 or 5 females from these diesel ryder seeds, but is anyone really paying attention to that? Doesn't seem like it...

Anyhoo, I just set up my square meter tent with a 600 watt blue series MH on a phantom digi. All nine pots are snuggling in nicely.

Day 3

Well it may be excessive but I'm gonna do an update every day for the sake of testing data. :photog:
I figured out that the hortilux blue MH wasn't running well with my phantom ballast so I switched it out for a Ushio enhanced MH. Seems to be running fine. Temperatures have not gone over 82 degrees, not sure on humidity, right now it's around 40%.

All the sprouts look happy and are already on their way to popping a second leaf set.

The farthest along according to the leaves.
