New Grower A 4 strain grow. Second try.

Thanks mate, I started tasting the Critical Jack and I'm very impressed, with both the plant and my ability to actually produce some decent smoke. The buds look and feel solid, the trim was done short but with enough sugar to have the buds glisten.
And the taste is really nice and very potent, I was hoping for a more high effect since they were mostly cloudy at harvest. And it's been in the cure box for over a week now, and will stay until the end.
The curing seems to bring more and more smell and density to the buds, it's quite extraordinary to see the process of drying and how nasty and poor it smells until it's been curing for a week, only then did the proper smells all come together in perfect harmony and produce a almost overwhelming aroma when opening the cure box.
But I just had a Discovery Chanel binge this weekend and I must say it was mostly sponsored by the Critical Jack smoke.

What do you rate the Viraspectra?? I just ordered two 300s for another tent I'm going to set up. I hope they're worth it... Lol

Ok I can't rate it as I have no other LED to compre to. Other than the COB
This is my personal opinion so it counts just as that.
I think when you compre them to the Mars Hydro they just look better built and more solid.
I have never had a full grow under mine and used it only for the veg stage of plants.
Silent, low consuming, sturdy, well built.
All in all from what I have read it's one of the best cheap led systems around

It's a special moment that first harvest, but I have to say, now that they have been curing for a wile, it seems to me that, growing and harvest is only part of the process, the curing is finally reaching a point where I'm satisfied, this morning and I'm guessing that from now on it should be every day... the smell of the buds is fenomenal,
There is no need to even get close to them. I'm truly gobsmacked, my god the aroma and taste is just unbelievable, so happy I managed to contain myself to the poor Blue Cheese and let the Critical Jack cure properly.

Hahaha your blue cheese was the sacrificial lamb to get you through to the critical? My sour crack will do the same job for me until the toofless alien has cured for a week.

Thanks mate, and yea she was the lamb, and a very worthy one, I had no idea how much curing increases everything about the buds. The taste, the smell, the consistency of the buds....
I think by the time this new batch gets the chop I'll have moved these from the cure box to the flasks for storage.

They are all around day 50 give or take a day.
The Blue Dream, a beautiful yet sad plant, she always has something to complaint about, with too much water or not enough, she drinks one day and not the next, not easy to keep happy, she felt strained changing from the Viparspectra 600w to the Budmaster II COB-X 6
Both draw 300w from wall but there is no comparison.
I sometimes look at this plant and think about the robot in hitchhikers to the galaxy...
