Day 92: End of week 7 of flowering. Day 49.

The Devils Lettuce is massive. This is partway up one of the smaller and thinner colas. I can't wait to see how big they really are in a couple weeks.

Just took a snap of Devils Lettuce, primo taste even on a flash dried bud. I had a few popcorn buds fall off while removing the trellis netting and I put those into the kitchen cabinet to dry. Strangely successful each time. Already feeling a nice high

Getting close to chop.
Short on the left tall on the right. I could of probably gave her a hair cut and trimmed back some, but I have been letting the just grow lately and see what she does on her own. Start to give off a smell that I am having trouble describing. Will have the wife give me a description later.

Well I took down the Devils Lettuce on Saturday. Took lots of pics just need to get them organized, tagged, and uploaded. I would have liked to go a little longer but the plants were at risk of damage. They were starting to topple over and I could not reach anywhere to tie them up or support them. Just too darn big!

I was unable to really open the tent door for update pics as the front plant was leaning heavily against it for support. The rear plant had tipped and the pot was at an angle. I did try and brace things but just could not get it set back again. So down they went!

The large center cola had been aginst the back corner tucked behind the filter/duct if that gives an idea how far the plant was falling over.

Total day count : 98-100 ( lights flipped around day 42-44)
Flower time: Week 8 day 5 - 61 days

Looking very nice bud! Quite a bit of difference in the phenotypes in appearance do they have the same aroma or are they different in that as well?

I've gotten to toke down on quite a bit of the Devils Lettuce and I really like it a lot. Smooth smoke kind of piney and citric with some musky dankness. The effect is pretty heavy and relaxing great for after work and before bed for me. I'm honestly not fond of coughing so I like the flower that I can smoke without chocking and coughing and this fits the bill and still gives a heavy couch lock. I would have to say the Devils Lettuce has definitely checked all the right boxes for me to move forward with the breeding project.

@Jean-O , Wait until you see how big these were.

I'll get you a final weight when they are dry.

Trich development at 8 weeks and 5 days - I think 10 weeks of flower would be ideal but the physical size of the plants required them be cut at this point.
