Dutch Passion 5 blackberry kush in nft under 315w cmh

Aye, that last Dr Feelgood down was my best one yet....cheers bud:d5:

Doesn't seem to take much of an angle to throw these NFT tables off though.....I've been OK for it running from top to bottom but depending on the orientation of the tray in my room it might go left or right a bit. Not so much that the spreader mat can't cope but they deffo need to be pretty close to level to work properly. With the spreader mat I just noticed you overlapped it in places. I avoid overlapping it as the instructions say not to and a mate once did a run with a few layers of it and apparently it didn't go so well as it seemed to slow growth rather than speed it up.
nice one buddy ,will take tips on board  will need to get me spirit level out next time, cant afford any more cock ups, runnin out of puff fast

Here's hoping:pass:

I've only been growing a couple of years myself so I've not got very much experience and it's all been with the little 20 litre systems so it's been mostly one plant per res. However, on my first go with autos I put 4 in a res and got away with running the pump at maximum flow rate but I think I get better results with less flow when there is just 1 plant. At the mo I've got 2 plants in 1 of my systems and found out I needed significantly more flow than I did with 1 of the same strain in the same system as both plants were looking sad and slow with the downstream one being the worst. I found this quite surprising as they were just a couple of weeks old and were not big plants but even so it doesn't seem like I had the flow rate high enough to keep the nutrient solution well enough oxygenated and/or the nutrient solution was getting depleted of nutrients by the first plant in the stream.

How was your flow rate set?

i haven`t got a flow rate adjuster, its a bigger pump than the one used in the 20 litre system, pumps up the middle and tees off both ways,
comes out of pin pricks in the tube and covers the tray really well, i`ll just make sure ive got a nice run off/flow to the water

How high are you keeping your light from the canopy during different stages? I just switched to cmh from led and trying to figure it out
