im using cmh agro bulb at minute but its pretty cold in my shed so i might have to switch to my 400w hps bulb to warm tent up. cmh bulbs dont give off alot of heat. atb everyone

think i may have drowned them ,nft tray wasn`t running water off properly.
ive taken them out and put them in intensive care , stable but critical.
hope they`re better in the morning.

good luck everyone

Too much water in the res? Or something stopping the water running off?

Bummer either way. I've been lucky and found out about overfilling without killing them as they were much older plants.

alright buddy, the res holds 100 litres and its lower than the run off tray. when i saw the state of them i checked the water flow an it wasn`t really

moving,i should of checked it before. wiil stick a 1" or 2" piece of wood under next time. gutted.

ive actually lost plants before and thought it was pythium but now i know i drowned them .my
system has not always been in the same place in my shed and the floor must be on the piss

i see you got a good result on your feelgood project  nice one atb

Aye, that last Dr Feelgood down was my best one yet....cheers bud:d5:

Doesn't seem to take much of an angle to throw these NFT tables off though.....I've been OK for it running from top to bottom but depending on the orientation of the tray in my room it might go left or right a bit. Not so much that the spreader mat can't cope but they deffo need to be pretty close to level to work properly. With the spreader mat I just noticed you overlapped it in places. I avoid overlapping it as the instructions say not to and a mate once did a run with a few layers of it and apparently it didn't go so well as it seemed to slow growth rather than speed it up.
