4x4 or 5x5?

Check the actual measurements of the light. I have a mars hydro fc6500 that fits in my 4x4. And even the next size up actually fits in a 4x4 just has more light bars :pass:

I'm thinking of purchasing a new 4x4 led light. Just wondering if I should use a 4x4 or 5x5 tent? Any personal experience is welcome 🙏

If you have the space go for the 5x5 always nice to have more space when needed IMO. I run a hlg tomahawk 720 in my 5x5 plenty of power

No tent if you have the room and here's why. For Auto's you are not worried about light creeping in at night. I have a 2x4, 4x4 and a 5x5. I use the 2x4 for breeding projects and starting seedlings. I noticed all the dark areas in the lung room where the lights could be overlapping. I removed the tents and still use the frames only. I kept the floor liner for spills and small floods. Better air flow. I have better access to ALL of the plants to give them all the love. More plants in the room. One environment to control instead of three. Room to expand. More head room, taller bigger plants.

Are you able to control the smells in the house this way? I’ve thought about it a few times but always worry the house will smell way worse without tents :pass:

I got rid of my tent and it stunk pretty bad. I've since put in a 6'' exhaust directly to the outside and it still smells some.If I run it wide open it works well but I run into other issues. The extra working room was more than worth it to me.

Now that I'm running photos I'm back in 3 4x2 tents and gave away my 5x5, it cost a fortune with the extra equipment tho.I really struggled with the 5x5.

Thanks kinda what I thought and was afraid of. I’ve thought about doing the same thing with multiple tents but the costs :nono::shrug::thanks::pass:
