It is smart to have some type of glasses for protection. I have [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] shade welding glasses as well as a pair of cheapie led glasses. I also use a golfers hat to block.

I start at 30" and move down from there depending on stretch and if the strain can handle it.

I have them at 22 inches from my seedlings from the moment they popped above ground. The tent my seedlings are in is a 2x2x3’ and that was all the room I had to spare in there. I kept the seedlings as far over to one side as I could for the first few days, while watching for signs of light stress.

I'm using a armoire type cabinet 48 inch tall ,48 inch long, 22 inch wide so I might be able to run 2 but maybe just one and my offbrand led... I just want sufficient lighting
